00:00Good afternoon, this is the latest in our time, today is Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

00:08At the moment, the shear line is still in effect in the eastern part of the Central and Southern Luzon,

00:16and the Northeast Monsoon is affecting the Northern Luzon and the southern part of the Central Luzon.

00:21And the Easterlies, or the hot winds from the Pacific Ocean, is affecting the southern part of our country.

00:28We expect that this shear line will still bring heavy rains,

00:34as well as isolated thunderstorms and dark times in the Calabar Zone,

00:39including those in the northern part of Bicol, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes,

00:46as well as Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Bulacan, and Aurora.

00:52The Northeast Monsoon will bring heavy rains in Cagayan Valley, Apayau, Calinga, Mountain Province, and Ifugao.

01:03We expect better weather in the Ilocos Region, the eastern part of the Central Luzon,

01:09as well as the Metro Manila, where we only have chances of light rain,

01:14and in the eastern part of our country, we have chances of localized thunderstorms.

01:19Our colleagues in the Regional Services Division will continue to issue thunderstorm advisory,

01:25rainfall advisory, or heavy rainfall warning if necessary.

01:29At the moment, we are not monitoring any low-pressure area or typhoon

01:34within or near our Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:38We also issued a weather advisory, where today until tomorrow afternoon,

01:44we expect strong to intense rains in Camarines Norte and Quezon.

01:51If heavy to intense rains, we expect numerous flooding events,

01:55especially in areas that are urbanized, low-lying, or near rivers and landslides,

02:00likely in moderate to highly susceptible areas.

02:04Moderate to heavy rainfalls in Aurora and Camarines Sur,

02:08so 50 to 100 millimeters of rain is possible.

02:11So if moderate to heavy localized flooding is possible in areas that are urbanized,

02:16low-lying, or near rivers and landslides, it is likely in highly susceptible areas.

02:22Tomorrow afternoon until Thursday afternoon,

02:25we expect heavy to intense rains in Quezon.

02:29Moderate to heavy rains in Aurora, Isabela, and Camarines Norte,

02:33and on Thursday afternoon to Friday afternoon,

02:36moderate to heavy rainfalls in Quezon and Aurora areas.

02:41So be careful, especially in areas that were flooded in the past few days,

02:46or landslides.

02:49For tomorrow, we also expect that this shear line is still possible

02:54to bring rains and isolated thunderstorms in the northern part of the Bicol Region,

03:01Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, as well as in the Aurora and Quezon areas.

03:07In Cagayan Valley, as well as in the eastern part of the Cordillera Administrative Region,

03:13it is also possible to bring rains in the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan.

03:17In Metro Manila and the southern part of the Central Luzon and Ilocos Region,

03:23and the southern part of the Cordillera Administrative Region,

03:27Partly cloudy to cloudy skies, we expect that there are chances of light rain

03:32and in the southern part of the Luzon, thunderstorms are possible,

03:36though we expect fair weather conditions.

03:38The temperature tomorrow in Metro Manila is 24 to 31 degrees Celsius,

03:4316 to 23 degrees Celsius in Baguio, and 21 to 30 degrees Celsius in Tagaytay.

03:4923 to 30 degrees Celsius in Lawag,

03:5223 to 27 degrees Celsius in Tuguegarao,

03:55and 25 to 30 degrees Celsius in Legazpi.

04:0124 to 31 degrees Celsius in Puerto Princesa,

04:04and 25 to 31 degrees Celsius in Calayan Islands.

04:08For tomorrow, in the Visayas and Mindanao area,

04:12we expect that for tomorrow, in the eastern part of Mindanao,

04:16it is possible to bring rains and isolated thunderstorms.

04:20In the Visayas and southern part of Mindanao,

04:23we expect better weather conditions,

04:25but there are chances of localized thunderstorms.

04:28In Iloilo, Metro Cebu, and Nacloban,

04:31the temperature is 26 to 31 degrees Celsius.

04:3425 to 32 degrees Celsius in Davao, and Zamboanga,

04:40and in Cagayan de Oro, 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.

04:45We do not have a high gale warning for any sea or town in our country,

04:49but be careful in the northern and eastern part of Central and Southern Luzon,

04:56because it will be calm until the sea level rises.

05:01For the three-day weather outlook of our main cities,

05:04in Metro Manila and Baguio,

05:05we expect fair weather conditions for the next three days,

05:09but there are still chances of localized thunderstorms.

05:12But in Legazpi, Thursday to Saturday,

05:15it is possible to bring rains and isolated thunderstorms.

05:21The temperature is 24 to 31 degrees Celsius in Metro Manila,

05:2516 to 23 degrees Celsius in Baguio,

05:28and 24 to 32 degrees Celsius in Legazpi.

05:33In Metro Cebu, Iloilo City, and Nacloban City,

05:36we expect fair weather conditions,

05:39but there are still chances of localized thunderstorms.

05:43In Metro Cebu, the highest temperature is 32 degrees Celsius,

05:4725 to 32 degrees Celsius in Iloilo City,

05:50and 25 to 32 degrees Celsius in Nacloban City.

05:55We expect in Metro Davao and Zamboanga City,

05:59Thursday to Friday, it is possible to bring rains,

06:01but when it comes to Saturday, we expect good weather.

06:06And in Cagayan de Oro City,

06:08Thursday to Saturday, it is possible to bring fair weather conditions,
