00:00A few days before Christmas, Malacanang reopened its doors to ordinary Filipinos.

00:06Among the first visitors were President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr.

00:11and his first family, thousands of young people.

00:14They were welcomed early.

00:16Crazel Fardinia was at the center of the news.

00:20I know, I felt Christmas right away

00:24because here are the noisy, crazy and annoying kids

00:30who are singing Christmas carols.

00:33More than two weeks before Christmas, Malacanang reopened its doors again.

00:39A celebration was held for the nationwide gift-giving day.

00:45President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. and First Lady Liza Arneta Marquez were part of the gift-giving day.

00:54Some members of the first family, Joseph Simon and William Vincent,

01:00also bonded with the kids.

01:03Aguinaldo received more than 2,000 kids.

01:07Each of them had a bag full of school supplies.

01:11Food was also free, such as cotton candy, ice cream and packed meal.

01:16According to President Marquez, despite the noise,

01:20he wanted the Christmas celebration to be fun and chaotic,

01:25especially for the families affected by the calamities.

01:29You know, Christmas is our open house

01:34because that's what our family tradition is.

01:41When I was a kid, we used to live here.

01:44I hope we can have a Merry Christmas

01:47because we were given a little time

01:53to be with our loved ones,

01:56to celebrate and have fun

01:59and eat a lot of lechon and ham.

02:10We were hit by the flood.

02:13It started in El Niño, La Niña.

02:16Our agriculture was affected.

02:20First, El Niño. Then, La Niña.

02:25It was flooded.

02:27So, I hope we can have a Merry Christmas.

02:30The first family prepared another fun activity.

02:34The kids were very happy with the inflatables

02:38where they can slide and jump.

02:42The games were exciting,

02:44just like Pabitin, where President Marquez tied the rope to a rack of goodies.

02:55for their first family and Christmas caroling.
