00:00And more than three decades have passed, and now the Mapua Cardinals have once again won the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

00:09And that's what Niko Wahe is talking about.

00:14The wait is over.

00:16Because after 33 years, the Mapua Cardinals have once again won the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

00:23They defeated the Benild Blazers in the Best of 3 Finals of NCAA Season 100.

00:28The final score, 94-82.

00:31It's been a long wait, many years of losing.

00:35All of that is worth it, because finally, the trophy of the NCAA Basketball Tournament is back in Mapua and Indramuros.

00:45The Benilds were tied in the third quarter, but the Cardinals lost the next three.

00:50Mark Cuenco led the offense of Mapua, who scored 18 points.

00:55Mapua head coach Randy Alcantara was emotional.

00:58He was one of the players of the last championship of the Cardinals in 1991.

01:02Wow, I can't explain it.

01:06As a player and as a coach, we also got a lot of tries.

01:14This is a champion for Mapua.

01:17Clint Escamiz was the final MVP.

01:20I wanted this so bad.
