00:36President Marcos Jr. laid down the major plans to implement Philippine law and commerce in other countries.

00:46According to the Philippine Development Plan,

00:48the government's goal is to increase the number of products sold in the global market.

00:57The Philippines is also positioning the country as the primary supplier of services.

01:03These actions reflect the growing economy of the Philippines,

01:08which reached a 6% annual growth rate, which is what the World Trade Organization considered.

01:15The World Trade Organization Director-Finance Secretary Ralph Recto,

01:21Agriculture Chief Francisco T. Laurel Jr.,

01:23and Trade and Industry Secretary Christina Roque.

01:26The strength of the Philippine government and the World Trade Organization is important.

01:31It is the so-called institution that establishes the foundation of bilateral trade.

01:37It is also the one that establishes the rules and regulations of the trade partnership

01:42so that the purchase of products and services is open.

01:47Under the leadership of President Marcos,

01:50the Canadian Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade, and Economic Development,

01:55the President assured that the Philippines is doing everything to be a business and investment-friendly country

02:02and to be a leading investment hub.

02:04The President's Create More Act law is in effect here.

02:08It provides incentives for the export and exportation of local and foreign investors.

02:15The Team Canada Trade Mission in the Philippines has 300 delegates

02:20that are made up of 180 companies.

02:23In their visit, new partnerships are expected

02:27and new opportunities for work for the Filipinos will be created.
