00:00Officials from the Philippines accepted a trade mission from Canada
00:04consisting of 300 delegates from 200 Canadian companies.
00:09This was led by Honourable Marion Ng, Minister of Export Promotion of Canada,
00:15where they discussed the opportunity of establishing the ASEAN-Canada Free Trade Agreement.
00:22According to Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs, Frederick Goh,
00:27the mission is to boost the growing interest of the Philippines as a destination of progress.
00:33Meanwhile, the trade mission will continue in a plenary session in the Grand Hyatt Ballroom
00:38to discuss other issues including partnership and investment opportunities.
