00:00For the first time, the People's Liberation Army Navy or PLAN of China is using an aggressive action against our ships in the West Philippine Sea.

00:11The Philippine Coast Guard has condemned this and called it an overkill. Here is my report.

00:20Not only one, but five Chinese ships were attacked by Philippine ships yesterday in Bajo de Macindlo.

00:29But the most severe, for the first time, is the PLAN warship of China, which was part of the dangerous maneuver.

00:39This happened 19 nautical miles from Scarborough Shoal.

00:48Despite this, the Philippines has no plans to send the Philippine Navy to the West Philippine Sea to face China's gray ship.

00:58But this does not show that the country's goal is to continue to be aggressive to China, but to avoid tension in the WPS.

01:09This is a humanitarian overkill by China to the Philippine ships that are just carrying out a humanitarian mission in Scarborough Shoal.

01:18This is just a clear evidence that it is not the Philippines that aggressively deployed our vessel.

01:26The one that is aggressive here, the one that is provocative and escalating tension in Bajo de Macindlo are the Chinese Coast Guard vessels.

01:35The National Maritime Council also condemned the attachment, hijacking, and firing of the China Coast Guard's water cannon

01:43to the BRP Datu Pagbuhaya and BRP Datu Sanday, which are distributing aid to the Philippine fishermen in the exclusive economic zone of the Philippine Sea.

01:54China has clearly violated the law of the sea.

01:59The National Maritime Council condemns the hostile actions against the country's legitimate maritime operations within its maritime zones.

02:09The aggressive posture of the Chinese vessels highlights a continuing pattern of aggression, coercion, and intimidation within Philippine waters.

02:21We are doing all possible actions that we are allowed to carry out.

02:28Despite of those water cannonning, dangerous maneuver, we're still holding our ground.

02:35The latest incident in Panatag Shoal has reached President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

02:41According to NMC spokesperson, Undersecretary Alexander Lopez, the executive board is in charge of the incident.

02:50The Philippines reiterates that the Baldimasin Block is an integral part of the Philippine territory and has indisputable sovereignty over the high-tide feature and its territorial sea.

03:05The USA also condemned China's recent actions.

03:10U.S. Ambassador to the Philippines, Mary Kay Carlson, said in a post on X, that China has violated the law and has put the lives of Philippine vessels at risk.
