00:00You've just bumped into Sir Ian McKellen there, I mean, how special does it feel to be here
00:04reuniting with everyone?
00:05Oh, it's lovely because we don't see so much of each other but we spent a lot of time in
00:09New Zealand, you know, we were neighbours. We spent almost a year of our lives there
00:14and I have so many beautiful memories of my time on set but also my time in New Zealand
00:23and it was just wonderful. It's crazy to think it was 13 years ago but, you know, time does
00:29fly.
00:30And how special does it feel knowing that the Lord of the Rings legacy is living on?
00:34Well, it'll never die. It will never die. I'm very honoured to be a part of it in my
00:41little way and just very grateful to be here and feel the energy and the love for what
00:47is a legacy of incredible stories, incredible characters and now we have an animation. I
00:53can't wait to see it.
00:54And what are some of your favourite Middle Earth memories?
00:57Oh my God, so many. Probably running across rooftops for three days with Peter Jackson
01:04going, can you do one more? While I was like shredded hands and on cables and then killing
01:10a dragon I never saw. That's probably the biggest memory. I never saw the dragon until
01:15I saw the movie but yeah, I somehow killed it.
01:19Movie magic, eh?
01:20Movie magic.
01:21Movie magic, baby.
01:22And listen, if you could play any other Lord of the Rings character apart from your own,
01:26who would it be?
01:27Aragorn. Of course.
