00:00It was a successful job fair of dollars in different places in Metro Manila.

00:05This is because hundreds of displaced POGO workers were hired on the spot.

00:10The employment rate in the country also increased.

00:16Ana Victoria is one of the applicants who failed in the job fairs of the Department of Labor and Employment

00:23for the displaced POGO workers in the country.

00:26This is after President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. removed all the POGO workers in the Philippines until the end of the year.

00:33This is a big thing for those like her who are looking for a job.

00:38Thank you very much to Dole for the projects.

00:43Because of Dole, we had the opportunity to get a job.

00:51In total, Dole held four special job fairs in different places in Metro Manila.

00:57More than 200 internet gaming licensee or IGL workers were hired on the spot.

01:03More than 400 applicants were helped to avail the SSS Unemployment Insurance Benefit.

01:10More than 700 IGL employees were included in the employment facilitation.

01:15More than 100 IGL workers were given livelihood assistance.

01:19And two IGL workers were placed under skills or technical training.

01:24Although we are focused on the employees of the legitimate operators of the IGL internet gaming licenses,

01:34we will not turn our back on the employees who came from the illegal.

01:41Meanwhile, the average employment rate in the country increased by more than 1%.

01:46That is equivalent to more than 48 million Filipinos who were given a job that is higher than more than 47 million individuals last year.

01:55The average unemployment rate in the country decreased by more than 1%.

02:00Also, the increase of the average underemployment is a part of it.

02:05We will ensure that we will help those who will come to Dole.

02:10Those who will not come, we will lease out either through Dole Services or Peso.

02:17The agency is also promoting Project DAPATA or the Dole Action Plan and Transition Project
