00:00It was flooded in December by our fellow countrymen in the Bicol region and some places in Visayas.
00:08It's not because of the typhoon or low-pressure area, but because of the weather system of shear line.
00:15The center of the news is from Joyce Salamatin.
00:21After the successive typhoons in November,
00:24our fellow countrymen in the Bicol region are facing a new challenge in the beginning of December.
00:31This is after some places in the region were flooded due to the unceasing rainfall of the shear line.
00:38In the town of Manito, in Albay, the authorities immediately responded to the two people trapped on the other side of the river
00:45after the water suddenly rose due to the unceasing rain.
00:50The authorities were able to stop the rescue operation from the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Philippine Coast Guard.
00:58Our fellow countrymen were successfully rescued from the danger.
01:03In Sur Sugon City, our fellow countryman Glenda Nicolas was able to get the flood relief in Barangay Burabut
01:10after a stream overflowed.

01:35According to one of the teachers of the school, they will have to wait for an alternative route
01:42that is farther and whiter while others will choose to cross the river.
01:48The town of Karamawan was not only saved from the landslides that were recorded in the barangays of Daryaw and Tugli.
01:57Aside from the Bicol region, some provinces in Western Visayas were not able to escape the flood,
02:03just like in Aklan.
02:04In this video of Aklan Electric Cooperative,
02:07the flood area is visible where they need to implement an emergency power shutdown for the safety of the public.
02:16Some main roads in the town of Numansia, Aklan,
02:20particularly in Aguila Bridge that reached Gutter Dip,
02:24the water was in the middle of the steep cliffs of Kalikasan.
