We went out into Manchester to ask people if they still used Twitter, or if they had been tempted to turn towards new competitor, BlueSky.

00:00Hi I'm Theo, this is People on the Street and today I'm out in Manchester asking people
00:03about X or what used to be Twitter. That's because 20 million people have signed up for
00:07Blue Sky over the past week or so and Blue Sky really is what looks to be the newest
00:11competitor in that space. Since X was bought by Elon Musk it's been at the centre of a
00:15lot of controversy. We want to know if people have made the switch or whether they're tempted
00:18to.
00:19So I still have it, I don't really use it, I would occasionally go on it, like I don't
00:24know if I'm researching something or just want to know like the internet goss I guess.
00:29What I knew was a bit of a cesspit before Elon Musk and now it's even worse after Elon
00:36Musk which just makes me not want to use it even more.
00:38It's not, I don't know, you can sort of notice it, I think if you look for it you'll notice
00:42it but I don't, I just, you just scroll for it endlessly don't you so it's whatever for
00:47me, it's never really changed much for me.
00:50But for X all I do if like any of that content does come up I just say like I don't want
00:55to see this and I've noticed as long as I report it then my algorithm stays like how
00:59I want it.
