Eszter MATTIONI (1902-1993) was a painter who developped a new type of mosaic by using noble stones like marble and semi-precious stones embedded in cemented concrete. Her works can be seen throughout Hungary in Churches, Chapels, Schools and many other public buildings. (e.g. the See-ground in the hall of the Madách theatre in Budapest.
