00:02Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong gave a statement

00:06against the so-called words of Vice President Sara Duterte

00:10against President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.

00:13According to Mayor Magalong,

00:15this could be a sign of the bad intentions of the Vice President to President Marcos.

00:20But even though it could be a sign of the emotions of VP Sara,

00:23it is still not right for her to release a threat against the President.

00:28She also added that she believes that the Kudita talks will not continue.

00:33Armed Forces of the Philippines Chief of Staff General Romeo Browner, Jr.

00:39claimed that he will lead the Vice Presidential Security and Protection Group.

00:44Browner stated that he will still remain under the Presidential Security Command.

00:49The former President Rodrigo Duterte also opposed the statement

00:54that the military needs to take action on the current events.

00:59You know, the uncalled-for remarks,

01:02uncalled-for remarks like that,

01:04maybe because they are emotional,

01:07maybe we just understand that there is something bad inside,

01:12but those threatening remarks.

01:15There is a call for the Armed Forces of the Philippines to intervene

01:22in what is happening to our politics here in our country.

01:28But we will not work on that.

01:32We cannot just air our grievances,

01:36just freely being members of the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

01:40If we want to do that,

01:42we will just resign, right?

01:44We will remove our uniform

01:46and then that's the time you're free to do whatever you want to do.
