00:00Venezuela hosts the International Anti-Fascist Meeting for a New World.
00:04The two-day event is held on November 27th and 28th at the BolĂvar Park Convention Center
00:10in Miranda State.
00:11The meeting will be attended by delegates from different countries who will discuss
00:15strategies to give answers and assign tasks to prevent fascism from imposing itself in
00:21the sovereign peoples of the world.
00:23The meeting will also consolidate the ideas that emerged during the Anti-Fascist Youth
00:28Congress that took place on November 22nd and 23rd in the capital city of Caracas.
00:33These events consolidate Venezuela as the capital of the struggle against fascism and
00:38as a space to unify people's voices that were and are victims of fascism.
00:43Fascism was almost defeated.
00:56Fascism muted in 1945.
01:00It blended with the oligarchies and the bourgeoisie of the time and slept for a while to reemerge
01:06today with greater force to continue its domination over the peoples.
01:12Because they are the same today.
01:23If we look at who are promoting fascism today, who are supporting fascism today, they're
01:29the same who encouraged it 80, 85 years ago.
01:34They are just the same.
01:37It hasn't changed a bit.
01:43The top Venezuelan diplomat stated that fascism was but a tool of capitalism to keep exploiting
01:49the working class.
01:58Fascism is nothing more than a byproduct, a tool used by imperialism and capitalism
02:05to keep dominating and exploiting the working class.
02:09So the anti-fascist struggle is also an anti-capitalist struggle.
02:15A struggle for the construction of socialism.
02:19Which is the only way we know.
02:22As Comrade Rander said, to eliminate both capitalism and its most violent expressions.
02:30Its most horrifying expression.
02:33Which is fascism.
