00:00It's a big year for the market. It's had quite a significant expansion. We've added a few different
00:04things to it. We've added in the North Pole igloos at the monument where people can sit
00:08sort of nice and warm and covered up, whether that's for a Christmas party or just on their
00:12visit. We've got slightly more stalls, but we're very proud of how local they are. I think 75% of
00:18the stalls are operated within 20 miles of the city centre. And then we have a whole host of
00:23family-friendly activities in Old Eldon Square. We've got Santa stories there for kids to go and
00:28meet Santa. We have the elf workshop where you can get a certificate. We also have the
00:32Rock and Reindeer stage, which is all sorts of performances, and the vintage carousel,
00:37which is something we've looked at for many years. And this is really a beautiful carousel from the
00:411890s. And it just means there's enough in that square now that if you can go as a family,
00:46you can spend a few hours there. One of the things that we've managed to add is this partnership with
00:50Hayes Travel around the Newcastle's Christmas mugs, which you can buy. They're refillable,
00:55so good for the environment. But one lucky person can win a trip to Lapland for next December if
01:01they get the lucky golden mug. It's a ticket for four people, so it's two adults and two children.
01:06It's a full day in Lapland. I think you fly out quite early, come back quite late, and then there's
01:11a full sort of festive routine of activity throughout the day where you can meet Santa
01:16and you get all sorts of rides through the snow and everything you would expect from a trip to
01:20Lapland for next December. So, you know, you could be making next year's Christmas while you're
01:27celebrating this one. So you can buy the Newcastle's Christmas mugs from across the market. There's a
01:31few stores. You can buy them in here in Moose and Burt, which, as you can see, is covered and
01:35it's nice and warm. But there are also stores around the market in Old Elton Square, on Granger
01:40Street and at the Monument. You can buy them for your loaded hot chocolates or for your mulled
01:45wine, whichever you prefer, or your normal hot chocolates. And then you actually do get a
01:50discount every time you use it. So if you buy your festive mug, say, tomorrow early on in the
01:55market's run, you can use it for the next few weeks and get money off every time you buy a drink here.
