00:00The Senate approved the allocation of more than 6.3 trillion pesos in funds for the next year.

00:15Eighteen Senators voted in favor to approve the 2025 Proposed National Budget in the Senate.

00:22When the Senate met with Finance Chairperson Senator Grace Poe, they followed their promise.

00:29Every decision is blamed, every fund is assured to have the right purpose.

00:35You were a part of the creation of a humane, fair, and balanced budget.

00:41When it comes to the hot topic of the budget,

00:44like the Office of the Vice President,

00:46as well as the assistance to the Kaposang Kita Program or ACAP,

00:50Poe said it will be known to the Bicameral Conference Committee.

00:54For now, the budget of the OVP will remain at the level of the General Appropriations Bill,

01:00while the ACAP is at the level of the National Expenditure Program.

01:05Congressmen will need to consult on these two items in the budget.

01:10The Senator assured that the budget is sufficient for health, education,

01:15livelihood, agriculture, tourism, disaster, and housing.

01:20In order to ensure the continuous and sustainable hospitalization and treatment of our countrymen,

01:27we increased the fund for medical assistance to indigent and financially incapacitated patients.

01:35While the budget for the AFP Modernization Program...

01:38I'm very happy, at least, no matter how you look at it.

01:42Given the precarious situation, sensitive situation of the West Philippines,

01:50The fund was also increased against the illegal construction of Pogo.
