00:00The third and final reading of the Camera is now complete for the National Foundation for the next year.

00:08I would like to thank House Speaker Martin Romualdez for his hard work in this difficult time.

00:16My report is by Mela Las Moras.

00:21Session is adjourned until November 4, 2024, Monday at 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

00:28The session was formally adjourned last night.

00:33But before that, House Bill No. 10800 or the estimated P6.352 trillion was passed in the third and final reading

00:44of the National Foundation for the next year.

00:47With the approval of the General Appropriations Bill of the Camera,

00:51the P733 million budget for the Office of the Vice President,

00:56285 congressmen voted in favor of the approval of the 2025 GAAB while three abstained.

01:06In his response, House Speaker Martin Romualdez thanked congressmen and low-income families for their efforts.

01:15We adjourn the session in high spirits.

01:18We have demonstrated once again our legislative efficiency with a succession of significant laws.

01:27The House of the People, composed of dedicated public servants,

01:32has demonstrated their tireless efforts to strengthen the Philippine economy,

01:38broaden the range of public service, and reinforce the nation's trust in our governance.

01:46We have once again proven that this is a large-scale institution of action and change.

01:55Like the previous budgets, a small committee was formed to accept and amend individual amendments.

02:02Among its important members are the Appropriations Chair Elizaldico,

02:07Senior Vice Chair Stella Quimbo, Majority Leader Manix Dalipe, and Minority Leader Marcelino Ribanan.

02:14In the middle of the approval of the budget proposal,

02:16Speaker Romualdez met with the new member of the House,

02:21ACT-Bayan Partylist Representative Percival Sendana.

02:24Despite the recession of the Congress,

02:27Speaker Romualdez insisted that they will continue to listen and monitor the important issues now,

02:33especially when it comes to our economy.

02:36We are on our way as one of Asia's best performing major emerging economies.

02:43Among East Asia's economies that have disclosed their second quarter 2024 GDP,

02:49we rank just below Vietnam at 6.9% while leading Malaysia at 5.8%,

02:55Indonesia at 5.1%, and China at 4.7%.

03:06but also its implementation.
