Talent Corporation Malaysia Berhad announced the winners of the LIFE AT WORK Awards (LAWA) 2024, recognising organisations championing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) alongside sustainable workplace practices.

Human Resources Minister Steven Sim Chee Keong highlighted that the Malaysia MADANI vision is centred on building a society and economy where no one is left behind, with the workplace reflecting this commitment through a focus on DEI.

00:00Talent Corp has yielded 38 winners of the 9th edition of Life at Work Awards, or LAWA 2024,
00:08which recognises organisations championing diversity, equity and inclusion, DEI, alongside sustainable workplace practices.
00:17Held under the auspices of the Ministry of Human Resources, or KUSUMA,
00:22this year's awards reflected the growing importance of inclusive and environmentally responsible strategies
00:28in shaping Malaysia's workforce.
00:30In his keynote address, Human Resources Minister Stephen Sim Chee Keong
00:34congratulated the winners for focusing on building a virtuous Madani society,
00:38where the workplace reflects this commitment on DEI.
00:42In the Madani society, diversity is celebrated and no one is left behind,
00:49especially the poorest, the lowliest and the lost.
00:54To the nominees and winners tonight, congratulations.
00:58You are setting the benchmark, inspiring others and showing us what is possible
01:04when values like diversity and inclusion drive decision-making.
01:09And as we celebrate your achievement, let us all commit to doing our part to build a workforce,

01:25This year's LAWA introduced new sustainability-focused categories and refined benchmarks,
01:30enabling clearer recognition across 38 awards in 14 categories.
01:34LAWA 2024 attracted record participation, with over 200 organisations and 713 award submissions
01:42spanning public-listed companies, multinational corporations, small and medium enterprises and public organisations.
01:49Talent Corp Chairman Wong Shu Chi reaffirmed the agency's commitment to collaborating with stakeholders,
01:55particularly industry leaders, to create inclusive workplaces where employees can thrive.
