00:20Proved by the 13-year-old rider, Aristen Dormitorio,

00:25he is ready to follow in the footsteps of his sister, Ariana Evangelista,

00:29who is one of the national team cyclists.

00:33Dormitorio led the women's 12-13 mountain bike cross-country

00:38that he finished within 25 minutes and 4.74 seconds.

00:49According to Dormitorio, he also dreams of becoming an Olympian like his sister, Ariana,

00:59so he always follows in the footsteps of his sister.

01:10She's very strong in climbing and I was inspired by her.

01:15Meanwhile, the Davaueño rider, Shaira Mary Salado,

01:20led the women's 14-15 mountain bike cross-country.

01:23This is her first milestone in her second year of climbing in Batang Pinoy.

01:28Of course, I'm happy because I worked hard for this.

01:31This is a training, so I'm very happy.

01:38Like other young athletes, Salado has a clear goal for his career.

01:45I want to be an Olympic champion. That's my dream.
