00:05President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. is scheduled to visit the United Arab Emirates next week for a one-day working visit.

00:14According to the Presidential Communications Office, although the President's working visit is short,

00:21it is expected to be productive.

00:24In addition to the President's activity, there will also be a meeting with UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan

00:32where the two leaders are expected to discuss some issues that will strengthen the relationship between the UAE and the Philippines.

00:39The President also asked the Philippine community in the UAE not to visit him

00:45because he will return to the Philippines for personal reasons

00:49and to provide relief and reconstruction activities to the communities affected by the typhoons.

00:55Meanwhile, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said that the government is studying the calls

01:02to postpone the election of the Bank of Samara Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao or BARMM next year.

01:10According to the Executive Board, there are unintended consequences to the Supreme Court's decision

01:16to separate Barmm from Sulu.

01:18It should follow the Local Government Code, Administrative Code, and Electoral Code for Sulu

01:25which is not a part of the aforementioned region.

01:27The Executive Board also insisted that the BARMM parliamentary election in the 2025 midterm elections

01:34should be held on time in preparation for this.

01:37This is something that it is currently studying.

01:40The suggestions are different.

01:43Others have already filed for the BARMM election.

01:50In order to continue the preparations for the election,

01:54we just need to end the consequences of the Supreme Court decision.
