00:00The Browns beat the Steelers 24-19. Second half, the snow started to come down. It definitely
00:06played a factor in this game. Steelers did take the lead on the Calvin Austin touchdown,
00:12but the Browns are able to go down and then get it back. Nick Chubb's second touchdown of the night,
00:18the Birdman Westwood One Sports. Second and goal, ball of the two, shotgun formation,
00:24handoff, Chubb trying to take it in, and he does! Touchdown! Contact at the one,
00:30he brushes it off, and the Browns take the lead. A winter wonderland in Cleveland.
00:40Yeah, it was just wonderful. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much, Ian. It was just,
00:45it was a car crash for me. Train derailment, airplane down, the whole deal. Like, I mean,
00:52it was Vietnam. I mean, I wanted, I want nothing to do with this. It's the worst. I'd rather have
00:56a hangover. If you had the under, it was awful, too, with all those points that were scored in
01:01the fourth quarter. That just wasn't, that was really bad, because that game looked like a
01:07dead under at halftime, and then the snow comes, and you're like, oh, this is great.
01:11Not so much. Didn't go well. Steelers are now 0-8 on Thursday night road division games. Six
01:19of those are under Mike Tomlin, who's also now 2-9 all together on the road on Thursday night
01:26games. Here's Tomlin afterwards. Credit the Browns, he says. You know, first I'd like to
01:32start by complimenting the Cleveland Browns, man. I thought they brought it tonight.
01:36It was a hard-fought game. They made more plays over the course of 60 minutes than we did.
01:41Obviously, we got to own our portions of it. Particularly early on, man, I thought
01:46it took us too long to warm up to the action. You know, we're penalized some pre-snap penalties.
01:52It just wasn't really sharp. We got going. Our guys fought, but it wasn't enough to secure victory,
01:58and so it's painful, but it's life in this business. We'll take a look at the tape and
02:03learn from it, man. We're in the midst of some thick AFC North action, and so no rest for the
02:09weary, man. We got a big one coming up. Yeah, like I said, they're going to Cincinnati,
02:13where they're going to lose, and that'll be it. Eight and four by the time the snowball
02:17rolls down the mountain. They'll be Cleveland in three weeks, as sure as I'm sitting here,
02:22and if I have to go back to Pittsburgh to make sure of it, I will, but I don't think I need to
02:28go to Pittsburgh for that one. I think I'll sell those and watch it on TV, because they're going
02:33to win that game. That team does suck. I don't care what anybody says. They do suck. Pickens
02:40sucks, and here's Pickens, obviously, a bit of the opposite of what Tomlin was saying. Tomlin,
02:47of course, says credit the Browns. Pickens says, yeah, credit the weather. They suck.
02:51What do you guys try to take away from this loss? What's the message in the locker room?
02:56Just keep grinding. Like I said, conditions played a huge, huge part in today's game.
03:01I don't really think the Cleveland Browns are a good team at all. I think the conditions kind
03:06of failed them today. You know what? You got some stones to open your mouth like that, but
03:12I'll say this. I don't, frankly, disagree with him. I mean, the game was a giant snowstorm,
03:20and they won, and that was it. They got it done, and the Steelers didn't, and Pickens is not wrong.
03:25I don't know how many times I got to say this. When you're two and eight going into the game,
03:28and you win, it's a miracle. When you're three and eight, your season's over. You're not going
03:33anywhere. It doesn't matter. You suck. You do have an awful record and team. They've done nothing
03:39ever, but they won the big game on Thursday night against the Steelers, so hang your hat on that one.
03:43That'll be your last big win of the season.
