01:08The project will be divided into two phases.
01:10In February 2026, the 2,400 megawatt solar farm will be opened
01:14and an additional 1,000 megawatts in February 2027.
01:24Once completed, it will be able to generate 3,500 megawatts from its 5 billion panels.
01:48According to the President and CEO, Manuel Rubio,
01:52because the power generation cost will be lowered,
01:54it is also possible for Meranco to lower its cost to its customers.
02:11It will also be able to provide 10,000 jobs to Filipinos
02:14while reducing 4.3 million tons of carbon emissions per year.
