00:00More than 2,000 beneficiaries from Pampanga have received
00:04Certificates of Land Ownership Awards or CLOA
00:07and Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage or COCROMA.
00:11All of the beneficiaries are thankful to the President.
00:14Here are the details in the national news of Kenneth Paciente.
00:19Up to 2,487 agrarian reform beneficiaries from Pampanga
00:24have received Certificates of Land Ownership Awards or CLOA
00:28and Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage or COCROMA
00:32led by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.
00:35of which 2,939 COCROMAs have been distributed
00:38to reduce the debt of the beneficiaries.
00:42As a result, more than 3,903 hectares of land
00:46have been distributed with Certificates
00:49equivalent to more than 206 million pesos worth of amortization
00:53have been condoned.
00:5530 land titles have been distributed to farmers.
00:58Amortization, interest, and other surcharges
01:03have been included in your lands
01:07for a very long time.
01:10From now on,
01:12we will remove your debt
01:17in the land that was given to you
01:19under agrarian reform.
01:21The President also added that this is a step
01:24to reduce the problem of farmers
01:26which is one of the most affected by the recent typhoons
01:29and their recognition of their responsibility
01:31in food security in the country.
01:33This is another one of our goals.
01:36This is another step to strengthen
01:39the agriculture sector
01:41and help raise the standard of living
01:46of our farmers.
01:48He also assured that the government will continue to work
01:51to strengthen the agriculture sector
01:53through cooperation with the private sector.
01:57It is proven that one of the strategies
01:59that the government is pursuing
02:00is to strengthen seed production
02:02so that it will not increase
02:04from other countries
02:05by increasing the number of seedling nurseries
02:08in different places.
02:10We are still importing seedlings.
02:12We should be able to do it here in the Philippines.
02:15That is our new program
02:17to increase the seedling production here in the Philippines.
02:21We will no longer import
02:23and our farmers will be included in it.
02:25They will use the best seedlings
02:28for their farming.
02:29This is a big thing for the beneficiaries.
02:32We are happy that the land is ours
02:35and there is no need to pay anything.
02:37We just need to understand
02:38how to harvest the land
02:43and use the land directly.
02:46I would like to thank the President
02:48for a good program
02:50that will help and increase
02:53the livelihood of our small farmers
02:57through his programs.
02:58The Chief Executive also encouraged
03:00the beneficiaries to work hard
03:02to develop their land
03:04not only for their development
03:06but also for the ascent of the country.
