00:06with agrarian reform beneficiaries and the ceremonial turnover of farm-to-market road programs

00:19Yes, Nina. Thousands of farmers have finally received the title of the land they have been aiming for for a long time.

00:26President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. was the first to share the title of land

00:30with agrarian reform beneficiaries and the ceremonial turnover of farm-to-market road programs

00:34in the province of Palawan where 1,287 titles were awarded to 1,270 agrarian reform beneficiaries.

00:42In total, the land has a total area of 2,926.78 hectares.

00:48According to the President, this is a way for the government to introduce farmers

00:52who play a major role in food security in the country.

00:55But this does not end with the awarding of titles.

00:58Instead, it is also a way for them to maintain their land

01:03and to pay off their debts through the coordination of amortization of these titles.

01:09Some youths who have completed their agricultural studies have also received titles.

01:13According to the President, this is a way for the government to encourage these youths

01:17to use their knowledge in strengthening agriculture in the country.

01:22The Executive Board also prioritized the ceremonial turnover of the farm-to-market road program

01:27which has a total value of more than PHP 44 million.

01:32This is a way to strengthen connectivity in the area

01:35and to ensure that the importation of agricultural products to the market

01:39by farmers will be faster to ensure their income.
