00:29But Jim says he has learned what to do to people who start to talk up his football team
00:37or start to talk up when you start playing well.
00:40Jim has a solution.
00:41That gene is in you, then, yeah, that kind of success can fuel you, you know, it can
00:50be like an attaboy.
00:51You know, the other side of that coin is, you know, I can just go back to what my college
00:57coach Bo Schembechler used to say and Gary Moeller, who was the defensive coordinator,
01:05he would say, you know, when people, you know, are giving you accolades and compliments and
01:12telling you you've arrived, kick them in the shins, kick them right in the shins, that's
01:18what you do.
01:19And those accolades could come from, you know, could come from people you don't know, could
01:23come from the media, could come from your teammates, could come from friends, could
01:28come from your own family.
01:31They're trying to make you soft.
01:33Kick them in the shins.
01:35So two ways I look at that.
