00:00Thank you for joining us in the snow, very brave of you to come out here with us.
00:03Rotherham at the weekend, can I get your thoughts ahead of that one?
00:05Yeah, it'll be a challenge, but one that we're excited for.
00:09I think we're on a good run of games,
00:12and I think it's a perfect opportunity for us to get three points.
00:17Yeah, we played very well, didn't we, against Bristol Rovers?
00:19I think, as Rush and the manager said after the game,
00:21we did pretty much everything but score that game.
00:24Was there an element of frustration afterwards in the group that we didn't pick up three points,
00:27or was there sort of the message of there was lots of positives to take from that?
00:31No, there was obviously a lot of frustration after the game,
00:33because we should have walked away with three points,
00:36but we're going to have games like that where it's going to be a 45-minute first half,
00:40where it's a bit of a battle, and in the second half we can play our football.
00:44It was a perfect example of it, but again,
00:47that clinical finish in the final third, I think is all we need,
00:51and it's all we're missing at the minute, but performances are coming,
00:54and hopefully this weekend we can get the three points.
00:58Yeah, I suppose that's the nature of League One, isn't it?
01:00We're going to be coming up against some very big teams,
01:02and a lot of times we are going to have to sort of hold out until half-time,
01:05and then, you know, I think we tie teams out, don't we, with the football we play,
01:08and, you know, we really build into games.
01:10So a lot of it is, you know, getting through that first sort of period,
01:13and, you know, eventually we'll start to play some good stuff, won't we?
01:15Exactly, you got it right.
01:17The way we play, it kills teams,
01:19and if we can get that game understanding where teams are going to tyre on us,
01:23and we have that little bit more bite in the last half an hour of a game,
01:27I think, you know, we're going to be perfectly fine.
01:29Yeah, and there's plenty of sort of attacking options that come in.
01:31One back from injury, and obviously we've got Tyrese added as well.
01:34So in the last 20 minutes of that game, we looked really threatening.
01:37So it's a sign of probably good things to come, isn't it?
01:39Yeah, Ty's going to be a really good player for us.
01:41So it's an exciting, exciting period we're coming into.
01:45Yeah, and obviously some tough away matches that we've had recently.
01:48It would be nice to sort of get back at home for two weeks in a row.
01:51Obviously, we've got this game and then the cup game.
01:52It's always a special atmosphere at the Broadfield Stadium, isn't it?
01:54So it would be good to get back in front of the home fans.
01:57Yeah, definitely.
01:58One thing I can say is bring the noise because the lads want it,
02:01and they don't understand how much it helps us.
02:03So bring the noise.
02:05Yeah, and I suppose finally, is it been nice to sort of have a week
02:08without a Tuesday game?
02:09You know, it's been sort of non-stop for us for a few weeks,
02:11and it's going to get even worse over Christmas.
02:13And, you know, in the Christmas week, we've got a game Monday, Thursday, Sunday.
02:16So it's been nice to sort of get a little bit of recovery back into the legs.
02:19Yeah, definitely.
02:20Saturday, Tuesday, Saturday, Tuesday is always going to be difficult on the legs,
02:23but having that little extra day to focus on the pitch
02:28and rest your legs a little bit is always needed.
02:31So the lads will be ready.
02:33Perfect. Thank you very much.
