With deepfake attacks occurring every five minutes in the UK, how concerned are you about the safety of your personal data or even your image being misused? What do you think can be done to protect people online?

00:00Last year I wrote an essay about generative AI, and I've had a topic inside my essay about deep fakes, and I've made a video about it.
00:09I think it's one of the most dangerous things that a human can do or create,
00:17because you take someone's identity and put it, someone's voice, and put it into another person's identity,
00:24which can cause lots of trouble or problems between people and can cause chaotic damage as well.
00:31I agree.
00:32We've obviously seen TV shows, mock-ups, where they are used to imitate crimes and make people look like they've committed crimes.
00:38Just right now, AI, I think you can spot when something's AI and when something's not and when something's a deepfake and when something's not,
00:43but there are some very, very, very clever deepfakes that I feel like, if governments got in control of very powerful information,
00:50that maybe something dangerous could happen.
00:52So, yeah, there is a concern.
00:54Right now, I don't think it's too serious, but I obviously see the potential for it to become very serious.
