The MSI MEG 321URX is a glossy, 4K gaming monitor with a 240Hz refresh and a built-in KVM switch. However, it also has a light bar on the bottom which MSI calls a Spectrum Bar. This can be synced with your games to give you quick info about certain stats like your health or ammo using AI. This light bar can be seen using your peripheral vision so you don’t have to take your eyes off of your game. For instance, in the demo we tried with Monster Hunter, the Spectrum Bar was tied to our character’s ammo in Monster Hunter. When we were about to run out of ammo, it flashed to let us know that it was time to reload.

00:00This is the MEG 32-1 URX monitor from MSI and what's really cool about it is this bar at the
00:06bottom called the spectrum bar and you can have it synced up with different things in your game.
00:11So right now it's synced up with our ammo so as we click and we shoot we see it going down and we
00:18know our ammo is running out and then when it gets low it flashes and it's time to reload.
00:24And it's not just ammo you can have it synced to your health or other different game metrics.
00:28Right now you can see it working with Monster Hunter but support for this feature is going to
00:32be coming to more games in the future. What game would you like to see this working with?
00:36Regardless of what game you're playing for me personally I would have it red
00:40for my HP so you can see your health was going down. This monitor actually has a KVM switch
00:44which means that if you plug in your keyboard and your mouse and let's say you're using you know a
00:49PC here and a Mac here you can easily switch and use the same peripherals across multiple devices.
00:55A KVM switch is a great feature to have and I'm glad to see it here.
00:58Oh yeah so if you look at the back like this is really nice it's really pretty you can see
01:01how thin it is it's outstandingly thin and we have a little cutout in the back for the cables
01:06so if you want to not see your cables while you're playing that looks really good you know I mean that
01:11is tiny. You know you come home after a long day you're playing games on a monitor like this and
01:18just wow. In terms of connectivity we have two HDMI 2.1 ports, a display port, one type c port
01:26with 98 watts of power delivery, two USB 2.0 ports, another USB 2.0 type port and a headphone
01:34jack. This is a great gaming monitor but I feel like you could also use it for productivity and
01:38something I'd like to see personally is if I could use this spectrum bar you know for my work life
01:43like oh I have a meeting in 10 minutes and the countdown timer is going down so we'll see.
01:48We have all kinds of different modules you can install mystic light for controlling the lighting
01:52effects of the monitor itself and all of your MSI peripherals but you also have MSI OLED care
01:58to make sure that your screen is healthy and to prevent OLED burning. This is their flagship
02:03gaming monitors and products this is the best of the best from MSI that you're going to get.
02:07It's a really gorgeous picture and if the monitor we just checked out is a bit out of your budget
02:14uh you know you can still get a great QD OLED screen from MSI this one right here is 900.
02:20You lose out on the spectrum bar of course and it's not an AI monitor but you still have a great
02:26picture it's 165 hertz you still have those HDMI 2.1 inputs for high refresh rate console gaming
02:34so it's still not a bad deal. So what do you think? Are AI monitors the future? Be sure to let us know
