00:00Okay, here we go. And three, two, one, action!
00:09This is behind the scenes of Primitive War.
00:13Primitive War is an awesome story. It's set in the 1960s in an alternate reality,
00:18where a group of special forces are sent into the jungles of Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
00:24Primitive War is based off of a book.
00:27It's this really epic tale of Vietnam 1968.
00:33These guys, the Vulture Squad, are sent out to find some green berets.
00:39And what they end up discovering is sort of far more catastrophic and potentially apocalyptic than the green berets themselves.
00:49They come across dinosaurs, to put it very plain and simple.
00:53I was immediately grabbed by the cover artwork of a soldier in Vietnam fighting a Utahraptor.
01:01It's a bananas concept that is so much better than it has any business being.
01:14I found filming pretty damn amazing.
01:17Our film has been incredible. It's one of the best experiences I've had as an actor on set.
01:27Yeah, it's a very interesting project and something that's very exciting to work on as an actor.
01:36And I really think that the universe provided us an amazing cast for this movie.
01:40As bloody and as gory as this movie has been, it's been a wonderful sense of camaraderie.
01:49It's been a really, really fun experience and something that I take very, very seriously to make sure that I'm giving the audience what they want.
02:11Wild. Wild, wild, wild.
02:15Soldiers in Vietnam encountering dinosaurs. That hasn't really been done.
02:24There's guts, blood, dinosaurs.
02:27But with a lot of heart about people coming to their primal instincts to survive.
02:35It's a war film. It's a dinosaur film.
02:37It's action film. It's all the best genres that we could ask for.
02:42Prepare yourselves. It's going to be great.
