00:00Fiesta Haraya by 2024 was launched in Cebu City by the President of the Department of Trade and Industry

00:07in order to help those in the creative industry in Central Visayas with the help of Artificial Intelligence.

00:14My report is Ches Atienza of PTV Cebu.

00:19Artificial Intelligence or AI is aggressive and not blind.

00:24That's what the experts of the launch of Fiesta Haraya by 2024 in Cebu City

00:31where students and artistic individuals from different creative industries came together.

00:38According to DTI, the artists can share their knowledge and works with the help of AI.

00:45Fiesta Haraya is a national platform led by DTI to celebrate our creatives.

00:53Get them out of where they are and really be part of a bigger community

01:00and to promote the creative industry in the Philippines

01:04so that in the end what we're saying is there's a lot of business from the creatives, from doing creative work.

01:12The partner of DTI for the music industry is the hip-hop and R&B artist Trevor.

01:18According to Trevor, the potential of the artists in the music industry is great

01:22due to the expansion of their demand in gaming companies.

01:26I was able to talk to these different companies, big companies from Singapore, Japan

01:32and they do actually get artists to make songs specifically for the game.

01:39And that's such a good opportunity for me because I'm a fan of the game

01:42and to be able to make songs for the games that I like, I think it's a good thing.

01:47The business sector was pleased with the activity because AI can also help businessmen.

01:52I love the series of speakers that were presented this morning.

01:58Actually, DTI has been an advocate of artificial intelligence similar to Mandaway Chamber of Commerce.

02:04As you can see, the programs and events that we had in the Mandaway Business Month for the past three years

02:09have been geared towards artificial intelligence because there's always myths

02:13and the unnecessary threats that they perceive in their minds about AI.

02:20Exhibits, workshops and competitions will also be held as a celebration of creativity and innovation

02:29by the people in the industry of the creation of works.
