00:00The Department of Transportation, or DOTR, aims to open the first five stations of the Light Rail Transit Line 1, or LRT1 Cavite Extension, to the public as planned this November.
00:13The new stations are Redemptorist, Asiana, Mia Road, PITX, Ninoy Aquino Avenue, and Dr. Santos, formerly Sukat.
00:22The first phase, developed through a public-private partnership, will link Baclaran Station in Pasay City to Dr. Santos Station in Paranaque City, aiming to cut travel time by 30 minutes.
00:34These stations, extending the line by 6.1 kilometers, are expected to accommodate up to 80,000 more passengers daily during the first year of operation.
