00:00Affected by the storm, residents and businessmen in Cagayan were afraid of flooding from the rivers.

00:39Igan, the weather is fine this morning here in Tugueg, Garau City.

00:43But due to the continuous rising of the Cagayan River, many residents were affected by the floods.

00:54Around 7 p.m. last night, shops and goods were quickly swept away by the floods in Central 10 in Tugueg, Garau City, Cagayan.

01:03The Caganawan River is already flooding. It's only a few meters away from the building of the floods.

01:09These children were helped to get out of their boxes and get into their vehicles to go to the grocery stores.

01:15We only brought a few things because we haven't brought our things back yet.

01:19Last time, the water was there for only 30 to 45 minutes. But we were able to carry everything.

01:26The refrigerator was moved to a higher place, next to the vegetable stores.

01:32It was fast because the dam opened. It took about four hours to get here.

01:39Aside from the grocery stores, the residents were also busy in arranging their things to get out of the flood because of the rapid rise in the flood.

01:47The flood usually hits people in the area.

01:49Later, we will get out of the flood. We are packing all our things because the water is flooding.

01:5711 barangays are being guarded by the authorities because of the flood.

02:01Now, the Pinakanawan River is flooding.

02:03There are people who have already fled because they are afraid that if they see that the rain will continue to fall,

02:11that it will be heavy, sometimes a little, that's not the thing.

02:15The reason for that is because the water will come from the dam.

02:18The Kagayan River is already above the alarm level.

02:21Aside from Tugay Garaw, the town of Baggao also experienced flooding.

02:25Because of the heavy rainfall brought by the Nica typhoon, they gradually removed part of this area.

02:31Since yesterday morning, there was no power supply in the towns of Balisteros, Lasam, Abulug, and Rizal.

02:43Igan, I will just show you the situation here in our barangay, Centro 10.

02:48Because of the continuous rising of the Kagayan River, the flood almost reached the roof of the houses.

02:56There are many residents in the evacuation center, more than 500 families are in the evacuation center.

03:01But some did not flee.

03:04Instead, a tent was built here on the road where the items were placed and where they slept and ate.

03:13That's why the monitoring of the local government is still ongoing.
