00:00The typhoon Marse has weakened after two landfalls in the province of Cagayan, but it has not yet left the country.

00:07There is another low-pressure area outside of Par that is being monitored by Pagasa.

00:13We will know the update on the weather situation from Pagasa weather specialist, Simon Magub. Good morning, Sir Simon.

00:21Good morning to you, listeners.

00:25This is the latest update on the typhoon Marse. The typhoon Marse has weakened and is in the canlura of Ilocos Norte,

00:33even though it has weakened, it is still in the type 1 category.

00:37Earlier this morning, the typhoon Marse was seen in the coastal waters of Pacific, Ilocos Norte.

00:44There was a strong downpour of 155 kmph in the middle and a gust of wind of 215 kmph.

00:53Currently, it is moving in the west-northwestward at a speed of 10 kmph.

00:58Because of the typhoon Marse, we still have a tropical cyclone wind signal No. 4 in Ilocos Norte,

01:05the northernmost portion of Ilocos Sur, the northern portion of Apra, the northwestern portion of Kapayaw,

01:12the northwestern portion of mainland Cagayan.

01:15Signal No. 3 in the southern and western portion of Paboyan Islands, northern and western portion of Cagayan.

01:22The rest of Apayaw, the central portion of Apra, and the northern portion of Ilocos Sur.

01:29Signal No. 2 in the southern portion of Batanes, the rest of Paboyan Islands, the rest of the mainland Cagayan,

01:37the northern and western portion of Ipsivela, the rest of Apra, Calinga, Mountain Province,

01:43the northern portion of Ipugao, the northern portion of Benguet, the rest of Ilocos Sur, the northern portion of La Union.

01:51Signal No. 1 in the rest of Batanes, the rest of La Union, Pangasinan, the rest of Ipugao, the rest of Benguet,

01:58the rest of Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vistaya, the northern and central portion of Aurora,

02:04the northern portion of Nueva Ecija, and the northern portion of Zambales.

02:10For the first ones, expect a heavy to intense day in Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Apra, Apayaw,

02:16while moderate to heavy in Calinga, La Union, and Cagayan.

02:21In the mentioned areas, we will continue to be careful and prepare for flooding and landslides.

02:27We also have high gale warnings for the seaboards of Batanes, Cagayan, along with Paboyan Islands,

02:34Isabela, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, and Pangasinan.

02:39It is still dangerous for the mentioned seaboards in these areas.

02:45In Simasi, it is possible that a park will open tomorrow afternoon or evening.

02:51Here in Metro Manila, it is expected that it will continue to be rainy until it rains in the sky

02:57and there will be heavy rains, floods, and landslides.
