00:00Hello there. It's a murky Wednesday morning for many. We're seeing hill fog,
00:05lower level fog as well, causing poor visibility. High pressure remains in
00:10charge, extending from central eastern areas of Europe and under this high
00:14that's where the cloud is trapped. Now towards the west, the winds are slightly
00:18stronger and a little bit of rain to start the day across the northwestern
00:23part of Scotland. At the same time clearer skies across the northeast of
00:26Scotland where we're seeing temperatures in the low single figures. It's
00:29damp across many areas particularly over the hills and mountains with some
00:33patchy rain and drizzle and poor visibility as well if you are travelling
00:36first thing. Now through the day there's not a lot of forcing with our weather.
00:40Certainly the winds will pick up some strength towards the west, elsewhere a
00:44light breeze. There will be some broken cloud through the day once that fog
00:48lifts. Even so for many a canopy of cloud continues to affect us. Brighter skies
00:54perhaps the northeast of Scotland after a chilly start. Northern England as well
00:58maybe one or two shelter spots towards the north of Wales. Elsewhere not a lot
01:03of sunshine around. Most places though will be dry and the breeze will continue
01:08in the west through the afternoon as temperatures arrive around 15 across
01:12western Scotland, 14 from mid Wales down towards the southeast. Now through
01:17Wednesday evening and overnight that fog could reform in one or two spots
01:21certainly lots of low cloud. The cloud level will be slightly higher towards
01:26the west as the winds pick up some strength here and where we see clearer
01:30skies temperatures slightly higher than the night before. Even so damp in places
01:35to start the day on Thursday morning. Brighter skies across northern Scotland
01:40we could see a few breaks further south. Temperatures around average for this
01:43time of year 14 degrees Celsius at the very best. Here's your outlook then
01:48through Friday. It's pretty much spot the difference. There will be some broken
01:53cloud around. Generally speaking though a canopy of thicker clouds temperatures
01:5711 to 14 and here's your outlook through Saturday as well. I'll see you later have
02:01a lovely day.
