00:00Hi there, it is yet another grey start to the day for many of us and we keep a lot of
00:05cloud throughout the day, but there's an increased chance of at least some cloud breaks
00:11developing in places by the afternoon. We start the day with the best cloud breaks
00:16across eastern Scotland, north-east England, but also a few cloud breaks further south
00:21and they'll come and go during the day, but I think they'll become a bit more extensive
00:24into the afternoon across the Midlands, Wales and southern England, whilst we keep the best
00:28of the sunshine, eastern Scotland and north-east England where we've got some sunshine, feeling
00:32pleasant enough with light winds and highs into the mid-teens. Meanwhile, low cloud sticks
00:38around for the north-west of Scotland and it's going to turn increasingly damp here
00:42by the end of the afternoon, those outbreaks of rain spilling south across the rest of
00:46Scotland and perhaps a few outbreaks of rain into the north and west of Northern Ireland
00:51by the end of the night. One or two light showers further south, but on the whole a
00:54drier day and a drier night to come compared with the previous 24 hours. Increased chance
01:01of those cloud breaks as well and where we do get some cloud breaks for the start of
01:05Wednesday we'll see some mist and fog first thing because we've got higher pressure developing
01:09across the UK, so light winds, where we do get any clear skies at this time of year with
01:14light winds we do tend to see fog. Patchy fog nevertheless for the start of Wednesday
01:20with areas of cloud floating around in between and any fog will lift so some brightness developing
01:27once again during Wednesday. Most of the UK dry on Wednesday with that high pressure firmly
01:33in charge but whether or not it's sunny, well that depends on your location. Greatest chance
01:39to the south and also to the north-east, areas of cloud generally floating about in between.
01:45The north-west increasingly cloudy later on and some outbreaks of rain moving into
01:50the far north-west, but otherwise a pleasant enough day under high pressure whether you've
01:54got the sunshine or not. Highs of 13-15 Celsius. Halloween itself looks very similar, perhaps
02:01some spooky mist first thing, but otherwise a largely fine day with areas of cloud floating
02:06about and staying dry for most of us if you are heading out trick or treating. Bye bye.
