00:08for his assistance in the areas affected by the Christine earthquake.

00:12Details of this were reported by Kenneth Paciente of PTV Manila.

00:18Following the disaster of the Christine and Leon earthquake,

00:21help from various countries also came to the humanitarian assistance and disaster response efforts

00:26that the government is continuously doing.

00:29According to the latest data of the NDRRMC,

00:32there were already 60 response operations

00:35of air asset assistance from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Brunei Darussalam.

00:40President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. expressed his deep gratitude to Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim

00:48for his assistance in the areas affected by the Christine earthquake.

00:55The President was proud that the areas were still flooded due to the air assets of Malaysia

01:00as a reason to receive help from the families in need.

01:04In addition, the Chief Executive, who is in front of the opening of the country due to the aftermath of the earthquake,

01:09is excited to see the assistance of Asian countries that are just showing the unity of the region.

01:15Due to the unparalleled action of the government,

01:18the amount of assistance that was provided to the affected by the Christine and Leon earthquake

01:21will reach 1.2 billion pesos.

01:24This includes food and non-food items from the DSWD, OCD, LGUs, and non-government organizations.

01:32More than a million family food packs were also distributed by the DSWD.

01:37The agency continues to provide assistance to the affected by the earthquake

01:42through the round-the-clock delivery of family food packs to the areas in need.

01:48This is even easier due to the participation of the local government,

01:50especially some volunteers to help with the repacking of FFPs.

01:55The government is continuously alert in the face of the possible effects of the Marseille earthquake.

02:00Local governments are reminding them to be prepared for the safety of their residents.
