02:18Every day po we haven't stopped delivering non-food items and food items coming from the SWD
02:24sa affected ng Typhoon Christine. We've done through air, helicopter drops.
02:31We've done through boat and of course through land.
02:35Depending on the area in Batangas kung accessible po yung daan kung cleared yung roads.
02:42Pero some of the areas po sir ay hindi naman isolated but accessible through boat po.
02:51Pero with the help also of the SWD and the Philippine Air Force, kahapon po,
02:57the other day sir, Sunday, nag-air drop po kami sa Tingloy and Agoncillo.
03:05Accessible naman siya by boat but with the help of the Air Force,
03:09we had two helicopters that dropped family food packs and SWD food items po.

04:06hygiene kits, at iba pang non-food items? Sapat pa po ba ang mga ito?
04:12Yes, sapat pa naman po. We're in close coordination with the DSWD field office ng Region 4A.
04:18We have enough supply, definitely, ng food and non-food items.

04:36Of course, the Office of Civil Defense, Calabar Zone, sir, is supported by the NDRMC

04:46with the ongoing response operations po natin.

05:02Yes. Meron po, sir. Meron po katunayan ng coming from the DSWD field office, 4A.

06:46We will have to still do a lot of, the government, we all have to magkita ng programs, projects and activities ilalatag natin para sa pagbangon ng affected communities.
07:31Yes, of course ASEC, we have to be more than ready. We just came from the typhoon Christine that devastated the Calabarzon region, especially province of Batangas.
07:42So we already yesterday conducted the pre-disastrous assessment yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock for preparation on the possible impacts of Tropical Cyclone Marse.
07:51And we are discussing the worst case scenario talaga. Apart from this, we already released the RDRMC Memorandum No. 155 for the preparedness measure wherein detalyadong nilatag po natin ang mga kailangan na paghanda ng LGU,
08:09especially the five provinces in Calabarzon, ng intensive advisories and information dissemination talaga,
08:16conduct of pre-emptive evacuation on identified areas susceptible to flooding and landslide.
08:26Of course, yung readiness and identified evacuation centers po natin as well as prepositioning of resources to strategic locations.
08:35Every day po, mag-be-meeting kami with the national government and the LGUs na talagang we have to prepare for the worst case scenario in case ma-affect ng malakas na ulanan naman ang Calabarzon region, Sir.
08:57Yes po, number one Sir, thank you for this opportunity, for this interview. I get to get the message out there.
09:16I just want to let all the mayors know, all the mayors of the Calabarzon region, all the DRM officers, law enforcement agencies, barangay officials, na sumunod po sa mga, tayo sa mga areas.
09:31If there is, magbabawa po kami ng memorandum kung masunod po talaga yung, if there's a forced evacuation, please, we need to really evacuate.
09:42Sinasabi ko parate, we can replace our things but we cannot replace our lives. We have to really follow whatever the regional and national government, anong ibabawa po sa inyo especially sa mga LGUs.
09:57Kami naman po sa Office of Civil Defense, we are always here to help and augment in case of anything.
10:03Our office is 24x7 monitoring everything that's going on on the ground.
10:08So I always reiterate to all the governors, the mayors, na if they need anything, we're one call away to assist and we are also prepared to assist anytime, any day.
10:19Maraming salamat po sa inyong oras. OCD Calabarzon Regional Director Carlos Alvarez III.
