00:00Welcome on in everybody, this afternoon here in New York, to the fate of Tate.
00:07I'm voting for Tate to come to New York.
00:09You have to. The content will be too good.
00:11I think the biggest problem for everybody here is that it feels like we hired a commenter.
00:14I think they're going to vote him to come here.
00:16He's worried, I think. He called me on Friday. He'll bring that up, I'm sure.
00:20You need to learn respect.
00:22Tate did. Twelve o'clock, three hours until showtime.
00:25A lot of undecideds in here. I've yet to decide.
00:28I'd say the divide between the New York and Chicago office has never been greater.
00:32Doing fantastic. Severely regretting this.
00:47Tune in at three.
00:48I'm voting for Tate to come to New York.
00:50You have to. The content will be too good.
00:52And he deserves it. So I don't see why it's such a debate.
00:55The problem is, I think that people now are having a little bit of second thoughts.
00:59Like they might feel bad.
01:01But right now, I'm on the side of vote for him to come here.
01:04But I'm going to meet up with our presidents, Tommy and Kelly.
01:07Whatever they tell me to do, I'm going to do.
01:09So I can be swayed. I just got to hear what he has to say.
01:11The list I got said Bosco wasn't going to be here.
01:13Now Bosco's here.
01:15I like that. That's good.
01:17That's great news.
01:19I don't know. I try not to be like a prick.
01:22I tried to turn over another leaf.
01:24But it looks like the odds are against him.
01:26As somebody who had to grovel and fix relationships,
01:31I think he's got to basically beg his way back in.
01:34And then maybe see if people show mercy on him.
01:36But it's not good.
01:38Where do you see the vote as a whole?
01:40I think they're going to vote him to come here.
01:42Right now, I'm voting no.
01:44Just leave him there.
01:46But I got to live with these people too.
01:48So I could get swayed.
01:51Very happy Dave asked me to do it.
01:53Always love a good Dave assignment.
01:55This is the most uncomfortable I've ever been.
01:57Hasn't even started yet.
01:59Nate's got his speech ready.
02:01I'm going to be right there next to this kid
02:03whose life might be turned upside down.
02:06And then Nate's going to be firing darts at him.
02:08And I've got to sit there like this.
02:10Nate's brain is broken.
02:12I just want to let you know.
02:14Sometimes you know when,
02:16and you probably remember this,
02:18you know when we have a potential Bosco break.
02:20We have a potential Nate break today.
02:22Tate day.
02:2412 o'clock.
02:263 hours until showtime.
02:28A lot of undecideds in here.
02:30I have yet to decide.
02:32I don't know.
02:34I don't know, man.
02:36I didn't even hesitate.
02:38Absolutely.
02:40Someone's like, you don't even have to do it.
02:42No, fuck that.
02:44I'll always do anything they say.
02:46I can do secondhand embarrassment terribly.
02:48I'm already shaking.
02:50There's going to be one comment
02:52that's going to make my skin crawl.
02:54Just weird back and forth.
02:56We'll see.
02:58The irony of it all is
03:00if we move him, I've had nothing to do with any of this.
03:02I'm the one who's the face of being like,
03:04yeah, you're fucking moving, brother.
03:06Hello.
03:08Today's the day.
03:10It's a big day. Big boat day.
03:12They're setting it all up.
03:14There's like a hundred chairs over there.
03:16It's big stuff. No Tate, though. I've yet to see him.
03:18I don't know if he's here hiding,
03:20or I just haven't seen him.
03:22I don't know. He's worried.
03:24He's worried, I think. He called me on Friday.
03:26He'll bring that up, I'm sure.
03:28It was a fine phone call, but it was also a really weird phone call.
03:30It's almost like he
03:32is trying to get out of the bit,
03:34but he's so stuck in it,
03:36so he'll start off in the bit and then
03:38fall out of it and then get back into it.
03:40It's bizarre shit.
03:42We'll see what he has to say.
03:44How are we doing today?
03:46Doing fantastic. Severely regretting this.
03:52Leave that shit here.
03:54Tate needs to stay his punk ass in the city.
03:56He ain't ready for Chicago life.
04:00This bad thing that happened,
04:02do you think it's bad?
04:04Yeah, dude.
04:06Leave me the fuck alone.
04:08I mean, I'm going to...
04:10He's going to be able to say his piece.
04:12He's got a steamroll.
04:14He should get a fair shake.
04:16How many people got to vote?
04:1824? Maybe 25.
04:20It's like 24, 25.
04:22Is everybody on?
04:24We'll see.
04:26Do you want to vote?
04:28I actually...
04:30There was a moment where I felt like
04:3260 people were voting.
04:34They were like, well...
04:36I was going around.
04:38I'm like, let's just have an upstairs vote.
04:44What do you think, guys?
04:46I'm in the green room.
04:48I don't know. I don't have much of a say here.
04:50Not content, I guess.
04:52Which is fine.
04:54I think it's going to be
04:56based on who picked it.
04:58I'd say he's going to end up coming here.
05:00I also don't have a vote.
05:02Now, why is that?
05:04I think he probably gets voted to come.
05:06Judging by the panel of people.
05:08It seems awfully curated,
05:10if you ask me.
05:12A lot of people don't sit out
05:14in the content area here.
05:16Ever.
05:18Some people on that voting panel
05:20don't even have a desk out here.
05:22But it's interesting.
05:24It's just stuff you've got to think about.
05:26Not for me to think about,
05:28but some people should think about it.
05:30I don't know who he is,
05:32but it's depending on how big his cock is,
05:34or how cute he is,
05:36then I'll decide if he should work here or not.
05:38I don't know him, but I don't think he makes enough money
05:40to live in New York City.
05:42If he moves here, he's going to have to slum it.
05:44So maybe that's a punishment.
05:46Move here and have to live in a bad neighborhood
05:48with seven roommates.
05:50Not a lot of people remember that,
05:52especially during an election year,
05:54that Kelly Keeks is the president.
05:56So I think she gets the final vote anyway.
05:58There's so much sexual tension between the two of them.
06:00Fuck it out.
06:02For content.
06:04I'd watch.
06:06I'm going to vote, don't come here.
06:08We have enough people already.
06:10Currently, it's right down the middle
06:12until I see him probably kiss someone's feet.
06:14And then I'll send him back home
06:16and we'll kiss.
06:18Depends how his demeanor is.
06:20It depends what Vibs thinks.
06:22Whatever Vibs thinks, I'm on his side.
06:24If he kisses Nate's feet,
06:26I'll send him back to Chicago.
06:28That's kind of what I want.
06:30I have no idea how I want to vote.
06:32But if this is content
06:34and this is a thing,
06:36I just want to see him kiss Nate's feet.
06:38That's funny.
06:40I don't care anymore.
06:42Let him do what he wants.
06:44If he's in Chicago, great.
06:46If he's here, great.
06:48I don't really care.
06:50I think he goes back to Chicago.
06:52I think that right now
06:54the office is a 50-50.
06:56I think it's truly right down the line.
06:58I think originally,
07:00we all wanted to vote him here.
07:02But now people are having second thoughts
07:04because do you really want to sit
07:06with a guy like that every day?
07:08We have it good here in New York.
07:10I love the people I work with.
07:12The Vibs are immaculate.
07:14I think we're split.
07:16We'll have to wait and see.
07:18You're going to be waiting off set
07:20so Jeff will call you.
07:22When's Dave coming?
07:24He's on the call.
07:26He's not here.
07:32What's up? I missed you.
07:34Did you really?
07:36I really did.
07:38I went back and said you're my favorite person.
07:40I respect that.
07:42I think you should stay.
07:44What do you think?
07:46I want you to come with me.
07:48No, I don't.
07:50You ain't ready for Chicago life, baby boy.
07:52I've been there for six months.
07:54Six months ain't long enough for your ass.
07:56You need to come to the city again, mate.
07:58Do you like it or not?
08:00There's a school right beside Jeff.
08:02It's a red school.
08:04I got to get my speeches out.
08:06I don't know where the fuck it is.
08:08This is the second one.
08:10I don't know where the first one is.
08:12It might be upstairs.
08:14I got to go get it from upstairs, I think.
08:19Tell Rob, sorry.
08:21What's up?
08:23What do you want?
08:25What the fuck do you want from me, dude?
08:27Oh, yeah.
08:29Have you been watching the Yankees streams?
08:31Yeah, man, on and off.
08:33I don't know what the fuck you want from me.
08:35You're voting for who?
08:37Pat.
08:39You're voting for Pat, so it's 24.
08:41Who's voting for Pat?
08:43Me. Joey.
08:45Do we throw it out because he's not here?
08:48Pat's not voting.
08:50That's my complaint with this whole thing.
08:52The communication's been terrible.
08:54I was told Pat's allowed to absentee vote.
08:56Francis isn't.
08:58Two seconds later, everything changes.
09:00Two seconds before it starts, everything changes.
09:04There will be an asterisk by this
09:06if it doesn't go my way.
09:08This whole thing has been fraudulent.
09:10It's a witch hunt.
09:12Joe's going to open.
09:14Jeff is going to explain everything.
09:16Jeff's going to have his opening statement.
09:18There are designated speakers
09:20who will come up and stand, give their spiel.
09:22Jeff will then, if there's extra time,
09:24get some quick questions
09:26or call in a few more people.
09:30Is Tate speaking first?
09:32Yep, he opens up his statement.
09:34Welcome on in, everybody,
09:36this afternoon here in New York
09:38to the fate of Tate.
09:40Our colleague, Ohio's Tate,
09:42will find out if he is living in Chicago,
09:44where he currently lives,
09:46or packing up his life
09:48and moving to the Big Apple in Manhattan.
09:50Ohio's Tate, everybody.
09:54What's up, guys?
09:56Unexpected right there, sir.
09:58Not a warm welcome.
10:00What's up, Joey?
10:02Some people might say that I punch down,
10:04but in reality, I think I've picked the easy targets.
10:06And the easiest target
10:08has been the New York office as a whole,
10:10despite having many extremely successful shows
10:12and brands,
10:14and I obviously know that.
10:16So today, I'm going to take the loss,
10:18because everyone in this business
10:20has to take a loss at some point.
10:22And after all the shit that I've dished out,
10:24it is certainly my turn to eat some.
10:26Actually, you know what?
10:28I do take one part back where I say
10:30that everyone has to take a loss.
10:32Because you know who refuses to take a loss?
10:34Dave Portnoy.
10:36The person who put me
10:38in this situation.
10:40I worked part-time
10:42for five years,
10:44writing both about Ohio sports
10:46and blogging funny articles.
10:48You never took much notice.
10:50To the point where I had to email you three times
10:52that I wasn't getting paid
10:54for my entire first year.
10:56But then, I wrote two blogs
10:58trashing New York City employees,
11:00and you were in my DMs the next day.
11:02You created this.
11:04You rewarded this.
11:06And then, when you sent me here,
11:08you acted surprised
11:10that I continued what I was rewarded for
11:12and what I thought you wanted
11:14out of the trip.
11:16I specifically asked you,
11:18should I stop?
11:20And you said no.
11:22Maybe a better answer would have been,
11:24yes, or else I will ruin your life.
11:26I don't know.
11:28That was a wild speech.
11:30He may be a psychopath.
11:32Thank you, Dave.
11:34My speech is less about Tate,
11:36specifically.
11:38It's more about the narrative around the New York office
11:40as a whole that's gone on for the past year.
11:42All that's happened in the New York office
11:44over the past five years is we've lost people,
11:46we've lost people, we've lost people.
11:48When you tweet last week,
11:50New York office folded
11:52when Dave and Big Cat left.
11:54No fucking shit.
11:56We lost the two biggest personalities in sports media
11:58and a lot of other really talented people.
12:00There was always going to be a tough adjustment period
12:02during that.
12:04Online comments about it are one thing
12:06that doesn't really bother me. Maybe when I was 22
12:08it would have bothered me more. Now, whatever.
12:10What does bother me is when it comes from somebody
12:12inside the company.
12:14And when it's not really ever refuted
12:16loudly by anybody else inside the company
12:18outside of us defending ourselves,
12:20it leads to that narrative that
12:22even Barstool thinks
12:24the New York office sucks. And it gives a validity
12:26to that online narrative.
12:28And I think that's really bad
12:30for two reasons. One,
12:32I'd say the divide between the New York and Chicago
12:34offices has never been greater. I'll just say that.
12:36I think these last few weeks,
12:38it's only natural when you constantly see
12:40Chicago's better than New York, Chicago's better than New York.
12:42It's natural for people in Chicago to get
12:44this sense of superiority and be like, oh, those fucking losers
12:46in New York. And it's natural for people in New York
12:48to have sort of an unfair resentment
12:50towards people in Chicago. It's not their
12:52fault what people are saying.
12:54And the other thing is I think
12:56it's almost getting to a point, or it's gotten to a point
12:58where it's going to legitimately have a bad impact
13:00on some of our careers. And it's just
13:02bullshit, and it has to stop. And I'm not saying you're
13:04completely to blame for that at all.
13:06I certainly don't think you've helped, but there is, like,
13:08we could be better as an office, I agree, but like I said,
13:10there's other factors. So I don't completely blame
13:12you for that, but you really have not helped, and that
13:14does bother me. I think the biggest problem for
13:16everybody here is that it feels like we hired
13:18a commenter. And a commenter came
13:20in like a fox in the henhouse sort of thing
13:22where it's the lowest hanging
13:24fruit, and you get all that feedback from
13:26hundreds of people
13:28on Twitter, but at the end of the day, it's a
13:30microscopic amount of fans.
13:32And so, you know,
13:34we always kind of were like above
13:36that, and I feel like you were more in the mix
13:38of commenters rather than
13:40a blogger. And I think that is
13:42the real problem from a
13:44content point of view.
13:45I'll be honest with you.
13:47Professionally, it would not ruin my life
13:49to come here. I would like to be in Chicago.
13:51Personally, it would ruin my life
13:53to come to New York. So I would like to stay
13:55in Chicago for that reason,
13:57and I think that this
13:59whole thing is a
14:01great way to
14:03bury the hatchet.
14:05Frank, quick comment, Frank.
14:07We're running short on time, Frank, but
14:09I'll sit out there.
14:11What I say is this.
14:13You need to learn respect.
14:15You need to learn respect for the
14:17New York office.
14:19You haven't shown any respect or contrition.
14:21I wanted to see contrition here.
14:23I did not see any contrition from you.
14:25I hate this wasn't planned.
14:27You never know what Frank's going to say.
14:29I don't want to ruin your life either,
14:31but I say this.
14:33You should have to spend
14:35at least two months here
14:37working here.
14:39A two month probationary period.
14:41And if at the end of that probationary period
14:43we think that you've
14:45learned your lesson, you can go
14:47back to Chicago.
14:49I've never been given the honor of letting the dog off the leash.
14:51May never get the chance to do it again.
14:53So, Nate, the floor is yours.
14:55Hey, you what?
14:57You're just going to take the podium.
14:59This is going to be the hardest thing.
15:01I should have just fucking seen that coming.
15:03I'm not going to sit in your seat.
15:05If you let the dog
15:07off the leash, you got to fucking let the dog
15:09do whatever he wants.
15:11I do not believe you for a
15:13second when you say your plan was to apologize.
15:15I think your entire speech you gave
15:17was an act of pathetic blastage effort
15:19and a complete sham.
15:21The only reason you are apologizing now
15:23is because Dave decided your actions
15:25should have consequences.
15:27But if he didn't, you never would have called Kelly
15:29on Friday begging for forgiveness and we wouldn't
15:31be here right now. You salivate as
15:33you sit on Twitter reading replies
15:35that call Kelly a whore or say I should
15:37be fired or that the entire office should be
15:39shut down. That's how I know it wasn't just
15:41content to you. The fact you never
15:43stepped in once and asked your in-cell
15:45followers to lighten up or to stop harassing
15:47her shows to me that you not only enjoyed
15:49it, but you encouraged it. But Tate,
15:51at the end of the day, I need to listen to my
15:53gut and do what
15:55my former foe turned good friend would want me
15:57to do. Not stand up here and bash you.
15:59Not going to do that. But I'm going to choose love.
16:01As someone who has gotten
16:03someone who has taken content
16:05way too far before, again,
16:07you have to stop ripping me off. I'm
16:09flattered, but come on. I never want
16:11content, a content mistake to
16:13impact my real life. You're still a pussy.
16:15You're still a liar and you're still a fraud.
16:17But if Smitty can forgive... Dave,
16:19I can forgive you too.
16:21I'm voting for you to stay in Chicago.
16:23Thank you, Nate. You're welcome.
16:25Is this a real one? Thank you.
16:27You all have parchment in front of you. Please write down
16:29your vote, either Chicago or New York.
16:31I will come collect them and then we will
16:33count them and then we will decide what
16:35Tate's fate will be.
16:43What's half of 23?
16:4512. He needs 12.
16:55What did you say?
16:57Two months.
17:07Next vote.
17:11Two months in New York.
17:15That's a no vote.
17:17Next vote.
17:19Clemmer.
17:21Chicago.
17:23Chicago.
17:25Chirac. Chicago.
17:27Ohio State will be staying
17:29in Chicago.
17:31Yay!
17:33All the remaining votes were
17:35Chicago. Thank you, guys.
17:37Congratulations, brother.
17:39Good job, brother.
17:41Always great.
17:43Oh my god, bro.
17:45That was brutal.
17:4926,000 people watching.
17:51Concurrently?
17:53People were into it.
17:55Their attitude must have been like,
17:57this fucking blows.
17:59The comments were divided.
18:01Between what and what?
18:03What are we doing here?
18:05What was the point?
18:07I'm going to go expense the fattest steak
18:09on Dave Portnoy's diner.
18:13So, Nick,
18:15did you happen to catch that?
18:17Yeah, dude. I saw it. Everybody was fucking watching it.
18:19What do you want from me?
18:21Fucking moron.
18:25Are you a Penn State guy?
18:27No, I'm not. I don't watch college football.
18:29Dude's a troll.
18:31He watches. He's a troll.
18:33I'm not a fan of him.
18:35Remember when Spencer Rattler threw
18:37600 yards against Tennessee?
18:39He bought a Spencer Rattler shirt to wear
18:41to save T's face.
18:43My number one comment
18:45is this motherfucker right here.
18:47Because I think we could be great friends.
18:49But you fucking hated on me last week.
18:51That's just what he said.
18:53When he got me with the Kaiva peep.
18:55That's like fourth grade stuff.
18:57That's like a fastball.
18:59That's him stretching in the bullpen.
19:01What have you been doing during these Yankee streams?
19:03All the time.
19:05Yeah, just having fun.
19:07I mean, yeah.
19:09We're on the bump tomorrow.
19:11And then anything can happen.
19:13Judge gets a hit.
19:15Pigs will fly.
19:17They have to win in spite of him.
19:21I will never defend him again.
19:23Old Yankee Stadium would not have this.
19:25I agree.
19:27There's no ghosts here.
19:29It's a bunch of coastal elites
19:31who got their tickets from their corporation.
19:33That is true.
19:35This is your TikTok crowd, by the way.
19:37That won't build.
19:39No, the TikTok crowd is actually
19:41more on the Twitter side.
19:43TikTok has the most rational people
19:45on the internet.
19:47He's hiding it wrong.
19:49You're talking to this guy
19:51right now about that?
19:53Twitter is the furthest removed
19:55from reality. TikTok is reality.
19:57TikTok is the most
19:59attached to reality.
20:01The kids, they keep saying
20:03the next generation is bad.
20:05These Zoomers
20:07saved this country.
20:09Here's the thing about Aaron Boone.
20:11He's not a manager, he's a teammate.
20:13We all love Aaron, he's so nice to us.
20:15Your manager shouldn't be your friend.
20:17He's your fucking boss.
20:19Joe Bazula is loved by his players.
20:21He commands respect.
20:23Aaron Judge is the boss.
20:25He's the captain.
20:27Aaron Judge loves going to bat for Aaron Boone
20:29because he's a loser and he's attracted
20:31to losers. Oh, this guy will never get on me.
20:33Who voted him captain, you guys?
20:35Hal made him. Aaron Boone?
20:37Hal, when they resigned.
20:39I hate this current team.
20:41No, I hate...
20:43If Dale gets swept and it means that
20:45Boone and Cashman is gone and they'll make changes,
20:47sorry.
20:49The guy that went to the World Series.
20:51That was George, not Hal.
20:53He's 6-18. Aaron Boone's 6-18
20:55in the playoffs. Zero series wins
20:57against non-AL Central. You know, you have a bad team.
20:59I don't hate any of your players.
21:01Maybe one. Back in the day,
21:03the Yankees... Cole, probably.
21:05If I had to think of one person that I didn't like,
21:07that would be the guy I hate.
21:09But back in, like, Jeter.
21:11Pisada.
21:13Cox. Brocious.
21:15There has to always be a level of respect.
21:17Derek Jeter.
21:21Tommy's respect is so he can
21:23chant Derek Jeter.
21:27You know, Tommy wants to make fun of Mets fans for
21:29losing to the NLCS.
21:31How's he gonna feel when I pop champagne in his face
21:33after the Yankees lose the World Series?
21:35Let's go get champagne and make fun of Tommy
21:37and the guys.
21:39What's your play, though, Meek? Is it to pour it on
21:41yourself or attempt to get them wet?
21:43I'll chuck the vibes of the room first.
21:45You may have to make it audible, but...
21:49Alright, the bubbly is secured.
21:51Let's hope Dodgers finish it off tonight.
21:55Great. All ranch.
21:58Yeah, my life sucks.
22:00Um, it's official.
22:02My life stinks.
22:06No, it's my voice.
22:08Wings, fries, Dr. Pepper,
22:10and a baseball game with the boys?
22:12Blow mine if I do.
22:28Eat your heart out.
22:30You have found your dream Yankee fan.
22:32This is the guy who KMC
22:34always talks about, and he nailed it.
22:36You're my Yankee fan.
22:38He goes more hard than the entire Yankee team.
22:40He drives like a hoister, dude.
22:42I thought Buki was gonna have no glove after that.
22:44Like, he just took his glove, and it's gone.
22:46The other guy defended him, too. It's awesome.
22:48I love that he...
22:50Let's go, Watts!
22:52That is how you do it!
22:54I love that guy.
22:56You get an absolute slam.
23:03How are you feeling?
23:05I feel good. Woke up a lot more optimistic
23:07than I did yesterday.
23:09We got those scumbag Yankee fans
23:11coming in today. We got Francesco.
23:13Oh, they're coming, official?
23:15They're coming in the office, yeah.
23:17They saved the season.
23:19Those people saved the season, and if Yankee Stadium
23:21doesn't have a statue, I will with my bare fucking hands.
23:23I don't think he's grabbing the guy's wrist.
23:25Like, nah, I don't think he did that.
23:27I disagree.
23:29His wrist was in their seats.
23:31I don't think they were.
23:33It was right in their seats.
23:35I think Francesco will clip Mink's balls a little bit.
23:37Just by his presence.
23:39He won't say anything to do that.
23:41But I think Mink will tone down the troll antics tonight.
23:43Yes.
23:45I think there's levels to trolling.
23:47He will view Francesco as a higher heir
23:49of, like, do not touch.
23:51And he will
23:53calm it down.
23:55Yeah, I can see him chirping at Tommy.
23:57Or chirping at Marty.
23:59But I think he views Francesco.
24:01That adds to it as well.
24:03I would assume so.
24:05But he's young, too.
24:07He probably knows the significance
24:09of whatnot.
24:11I don't think he would troll Dave or Big Cat.
24:13So it's like, he's not going to troll Francesco.
24:15Yeah, I'm excited.
24:17Mike Francesco, that's like every New York kid's dream,
24:19I guess.
24:21It's going to be fun.
24:23I might be more respectful.
24:25If we have a guest, like a big guest Mike Francesco,
24:27I think I'll be more respectful.
24:29What's his name?
24:31Austin.
24:33Kappa Bianco.
24:35It's like the most perfect Yankee,
24:37Italian name you can have.
24:39He saved our season.
24:41We're going to win the World Series now.
24:43We have to greet him with open arms.
24:45He just had to rip a ball out of Mookie Betts' hand.
24:47Respectfully.
24:49It's going to be awesome.
24:51I can't wait to see him.
24:53Just good fans. Good old fans that just want to win.
24:55I don't like them.
24:57They're Yankees fans. Typically Yankees fans.
24:59They're probably going to come in
25:01with the wife beaters,
25:03the chains out.
25:05Right?
25:07We're not letting them in.
25:15I'm going to piss, man.
25:17I'm going to piss.
25:19I get it.
25:21You just got called.
25:23They said you got banned.
25:25We didn't even call.
25:27Last night before I got booted,
25:29I'm friendly with the security
25:31because I've been booted
25:33a good amount of times.
25:35When I was younger.
25:37Pushed the envelope a little bit.
25:39I go, can I come back tomorrow?
25:41They said you can.
25:43When you download the tickets
25:45or get transferred to my brother,
25:47they're not showing up.
25:49So there was one dude
25:51I actually talked to last night.
25:53Some dude from ESPN or whatever.
25:55I saw that he called me.
25:57I picked up.
25:59I heard the MLB banned you
26:01from the game.
26:03I was like that could be why
26:05our tickets weren't showing up.
26:07I was like whatever.
26:09I kind of expected it.
26:11It was whatever.
26:13The fact that we couldn't use our tickets.
26:15Are they just going to leave our seats open?
26:17You're wondering that.
26:19No one should be able to sit there.
26:21Those are four primetime seats
26:23in the biggest game of the year.
26:25What are we doing?
26:27You know we won because of you, right?
26:29Let's win tonight.
26:31Let's figure it out.
26:33Let's figure it out.
26:35This guy's got a full uniform.
26:37It's been like this the whole time.
26:39It's all been 16 and 17.
26:41We just kept losing.
26:43What's going on?
26:45It's the sliding gloves.
26:47We're going to recreate it.
26:49The style will be Mookie.
26:51You can rip it out of my hands.
26:53I need an extra hand.
26:55My boy failed at home.
26:57You were the other guy, right?
26:59No, my boy didn't come.
27:01The one who grabbed Mookie's arm
27:03is trying not to get fired.
27:05He's trying not to get fired.
27:07I can't get fired.
27:09Oh, that works.
27:15We always talk about
27:17and there never has been one
27:19in every game I've been to.
27:21This situation has never arose.
27:23Just in case it happens,
27:25we know what we're doing.
27:27Ideally, we would have hit the ball
27:29while it was in the air.
27:31We're not reaching into the field of play.
27:33We may have
27:35if it came down to that.
27:37That ball was on the wall.
27:39It was in my mouth.
27:41I go,
27:43I can't not do something right now.
27:45This ball may not be secured yet.
27:47Let's try to see if we can...
27:49It was pretty secure.
27:51It was pretty secure.
27:53Once you put your hand in the glove,
27:55I'm getting booted no matter what.
27:57I might as well rip the thing out.
27:59The fastest one, he just grabbed his arm.
28:01That was probably crossing the line.
28:03It was hilarious.
28:05I think you can admit
28:07grabbing your arm was probably stupid.
28:09That was hysterical.
28:11I was prying it open.
28:13That made a great play on that ball.
28:15Is there any part of you
28:17when you throw it out that's going to be a foul ball?
28:19Maybe.
28:21It would be great if they just stopped playing it.
28:23That's not going to happen.
28:25Obviously, if the people complain
28:27and one person complains,
28:29security is going to come in.
28:31If one person complains online,
28:33let alone all these famous talking heads
28:35or whatever,
28:37that's not right.
28:39They shouldn't do that.
28:41What did I do besides just try to extend the attack?
28:43That's all I wanted to do.
28:45We didn't swear.
28:47We didn't do anything.
28:49We did stuff, but it was...
28:51You couldn't have scripted it.
28:53You can't script this guy.
28:55He gave us everything and more.
28:57That's incredible.
28:59This is what he wanted.
29:13Good. How are you?
29:15Good to talk again. It's been a while.
29:19I do think
29:21if we're picking anything that's too far,
29:23it is the friend
29:25touching Mookie Betts' wrist.
29:27He didn't acknowledge that himself when he came in.
29:29He was like, that was probably too far.
29:31I think the fan that I'm talking about mainly
29:33that's the most viral fan,
29:35all he was trying to do was rip the ball out of the glove.
29:37There was no intent of hurting him.
29:39I think just the immediate reaction to me
29:41and I would think a lot of people
29:43should just be that's just a funny clip.
29:45That's just a classic Yankee fan
29:47being a classic Yankee fan.
29:49People acting like they cut Mookie Betts' head off
29:51and should be thrown in prison
29:53are a tad too far.
29:57They make for a good clip.
29:59And furthermore, doesn't that become a blurry line
30:01of like, I'm sticking my hand in the glove.
30:03I'm pulling the ball.
30:05Where does that line get too blurry?
30:07Shouldn't the line be drawn at
30:09you absolutely don't touch a player
30:11ever?
30:13I think when you're in the moment like that,
30:15you're just like, here's a ball.
30:17Let me do everything I can to make sure this isn't caught
30:19and this isn't a recorded out.
30:21And he did say to us, he was like, yeah,
30:23I thought there was a chance the umpire was going to...
30:25He might as well.
30:29I mean, we need to like, he showed some heart.
30:31He's trying to win a baseball game.
30:35Yes, he is. He's trying to win a baseball game.
30:37We're down 3-0 in the World Series.
30:39He's doing what he can.
30:47I understand that.
30:55And guess what?
30:57If Mookie Betts wants to win,
30:59he's got to go through this slovenly pig to get that ball
31:01and to hold on to it.
31:05I'm not.
31:07I'm not.
31:25That would be absolutely despicable behavior.
31:37He should have different rules.
31:43Alright, see you guys.
31:47Bodied him.
31:53I think it went pretty well.
31:55I don't know.
31:57I don't want to say it was troll.
31:59I was going back and forth.
32:01Did you see the Kings coming in tonight?
32:03Is that what it was about?
32:05You should have been like,
32:07we actually have like,
32:09it's funny that I'm doing the second best
32:11New York radio sports show of all time.
32:13I like Michael K.
32:15Did you tell Rosenberg that we went an hour
32:17ripping him for no reason last night?
32:19Well, no reason. He sucks.
32:21How are you, buddy?
32:23Very nice to meet you.
32:25I am thrilled like you would not believe.
32:27Me and my dad would listen to you every single morning.
32:29It is crazy.
32:31We met before on radio last year.
32:33Are you Tommy Smokes?
32:35Yeah.
32:37Harrison mentioned you in the beginning.
32:39You're a big Yankee fan.
32:41All you guys Yankee fans?
32:43Yeah.
32:45Is there any Mets fan trying to act like a Yankee fan?
32:47No.
32:51I can tell you this right now.
32:53The Yankees would rather
32:55lose in four straight to the Dodgers
32:57than lose to the Mets in seven.
32:59They did not want to lose to the Mets.
33:01I'm going to tell you this right now.
33:03I think they would have lost to the Mets.
33:05I think the Mets were better.
33:07What's going on here?
33:09I like this.
33:11We got to have positive vibes.
33:15They took the express route.
33:17They played the Guardians
33:19and the Royals.
33:21We got to win this game.
33:23The Orioles and Astros did lose to those teams.
33:27I don't know how he's going to
33:29react to the game.
33:31He said he's not a cold guy. I'm a huge cold guy.
33:33I don't know if we're going to do a fist pump,
33:35high fives, leave him alone. I think we're just going to leave him alone.
33:37Let him do his thing. Frank and him.
33:39Meekville, I'm locked in.
33:41Is Meekville going to chirp Mike Francesca tonight?
33:43He's going to say some things.
33:45I'll go to bat for Mike and just totally
33:47destroy that bear if it comes down to it.
33:49That bear has got to go. This is going to be very cool.
33:51You guys have to talk about
33:53Portland. I'm not allowed to talk about him.
33:55Where is he?
33:57He's in Miami right now.
34:01That's all he does, I'm telling you.
34:03I agree.
34:05You guys have to
34:07pledge allegiance.
34:09It's all deserved.
34:11Well deserved?
34:13Just another guy.
34:15We've been in the trenches with him.
34:17Take Buck around and
34:19he'll calm down.
34:21Go!
34:23Go!
34:25Go!
34:27Go!
34:29Yes!
34:31Yes!
34:33You eat
34:35every fucking word you ever
34:37said about him.
34:39No, you should.
34:41That's a clutch home run.
34:43That's the first time he hasn't pulled up a pinch.
34:45That's a good sign.
34:47Hit right center.
34:49Oh!
34:51Oh!
34:53Oh!
34:55That's unbelievable!
34:57You're unbelievable!
34:59You want to come
35:01every game, Mike?
35:03Oh no!
35:05You have to understand as a fan,
35:07you are not participating.
35:09You cannot go to take the ball out of the player's
35:11cloth.
35:13Why not agree with that?
35:15How about Fetz holds off and whacks him in the jaw?
35:17That's another story.
35:19It didn't happen.
35:21No.
35:23The point is, Fetz would be right.
35:25I mean, that guy was almost
35:27assaulting him.
35:29He was going for the ball.
35:31What right does he have to be the ball?
35:33He tried to win a World Series, Mike!
35:35He acted like he was part of the team.
35:37He basically was going for the ball.
35:39Maybe he was trying to force a fumble.
35:41You should get a ring if they win.
35:43A ring!
35:47Oh!
35:49Is he running?
35:53Oh no!
35:55That's really bad.
35:57No!
35:59No!
36:01What is he doing?
36:03What is he doing?
36:05What is he doing?
36:07Where's Kovo?
36:09Where's Kovo?
36:11That's just how you lose a World Series.
36:15A lot of ball game left here.
36:17Unbelievable text from security.
36:19Security Mike just texted me,
36:21I'm going to drive into the city and choke the fuck out of Meek Phil.
36:25Wait, I just got the same text?
36:27I got the same text?
36:29I'm going to choke the fuck out of Meek Phil.
36:31I'm going to choke the fuck out of Meek Phil.
37:01If we get, we watch the best two teams in the world play.
37:03Let's go boys!
37:05Woohoo!
37:11That was pathetic.
37:13Anyone want champagne?
37:15Anyone?
37:17Dude, you want some?
37:21I'll wear it.
37:23You get in close.
37:25You get in close.
37:27Meek honestly does like, he's whatever.
37:29I don't care.
37:31Tough night boys, tough night.
37:33Brutal man.
37:35Historical night.
37:37This is one of the worst nights of my life.
37:39This is brutal.
37:41This is going to be remembered
37:43as one of the great meltdowns of all time.
37:45What an honor to watch that with my friends.
37:47Yeah, you got to watch one.
37:49Really Yankee.
37:51One of the really Yankee
37:53contagion defeats of all time.
37:59My father got a job
38:01at a pub restaurant.
38:03My uncle Junior worked there at the time.
38:05He was actually a Jehovah Witness.
38:07He went from Catholic to Jehovah, believe it or not.
38:09So my mother's in the bathroom teasing her hair with a bottle of vodka
38:11like Ann-Margaret. Long story short, the Meek Pils will burn.
38:13Alright, you ready?
38:19She still has one bag left.
38:21It's 3am.
38:23The village tavern
38:25just kicked you out.
38:27You guys doing a Halloween skit?
38:29We just did our episode.
38:31We're homosexuals. You don't have to ask those questions.
38:33Especially during an election year.
38:35Tell them Tate can still live in Chicago
38:37but we have to give him a double blowjob
38:39in these costumes.
