Karimnagar Boy Wins National Gold Medal In Yoga : జాతీయ స్థాయి యోగా పోటీల్లో ఆ బాలుడు అద్వితీయ ప్రతిభ కనబరిచాడు. శరీరాన్ని విల్లులా వంచుతూ అబ్బురపరిచి అండర్‌ 14 విభాగంలో బంగారు పతకం సాధించాడు. ఇది తెలంగాణకు తొలి పతకం కాగా, రాష్ట్రానికి 36 ఏళ్ల తర్వాత వచ్చిన పసిడి పతకం. ఆర్థికంగా ప్రోత్సహిస్తే అంతర్జాతీయ స్థాయిలో రాణిస్తానని చిన్నారి దీపక్ ధీమా వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నాడు.
కరీంనగర్లోని ఒక సామాజిక వర్గం సమాధుల వద్ద పూజలు చేసి దీపావళి పండుగను జరుపుకుంటారు. ఈ వింత ఆచారం కరీంనగర్లోని కర్మాన్ఘాట్లో దర్శనమిచ్చింది. చనిపోయిన తమ పూర్వీకులను గుర్తు చేసుకుంటూ వారి సమాధుల వద్ద తిను బండారాలను పెట్టి దీపాలు వెలిగిస్తారు. అనంతరం టపాసులు కాల్చి వేడుకలు చేసుకుంటారు. ఇలా ఈ ఆచారాన్ని దశాబ్దాలుగా కొనసాగిస్తున్నట్లు స్థానికులు తెలిపారు.
