00:00The closure and construction of the road at North Luzon Expressway or NLEX has been banned from today.
00:09According to the leadership of the NLEX, motorists are expecting a downpour tomorrow,
00:13as well as heavy rains.

00:21Princess, at this point, the situation is still calm here in the area of Balintawaktol Plaza at North Luzon Expressway.
00:30But tomorrow, motorists are expecting a downpour.
00:36Since this morning, several motorists have been traveling to the province for the construction of the road.
00:42According to the motorists we have talked to, they are avoiding the expected downpour of motorists,
00:48that's why they are traveling now.
00:50They think, it's safer to travel while it's still early,
00:54now that there's a new typhoon that is being monitored in the country.
00:58According to NLEX Traffic Operations Head Robin Ignacio,
01:01from the daily average volume of motorists here at NLEX, which is 330,000,
01:07he expects it to increase by 10 percent or around 360,000 by the time of the downpour.
01:13He insists that they are prepared for any situation,
01:16and there are measures that they are preparing for a longer travel on the expressway.

01:26No road work, no closure for us, starting today.
01:29Until November 4, we will not be complying, all our lanes will be open.
01:35And starting tomorrow, until November 4 at 6 a.m.,

01:43we will implement free towing for Class 1 to the nearest exit,
01:48so that we can clear the incidents faster and they won't be able to cross the traffic.
01:54And the same goes for our deployment of personnel, around 1,500 personnel.

02:07from patrol, our incident response team, security,
02:12incident response teams, and our lane assist here at the plazas.
