00:00Now that the wave is approaching,
00:02the work on fixing and rehabilitating the North Luzon Expressway and Subiclark-Tarlac Expressway is being suspended.

00:20All lines in the length of the North Luzon Expressway or NLEX
00:26and Subiclark-Tarlac Expressway or ESITEX
00:30are expected to travel to Central and North Luzon
00:35for the maintenance of the wave.
00:38According to Luigi Bautista, President of the NLEX Corporation,
00:41the work on rehabilitating and fixing of the expressways is being suspended.
00:48It will be continued after the people returning to their homes in Metro Manila on November 4.
00:56Among the projects suspended are the rehabilitation of the road surface of the NLEX itself,
01:03the construction of the Third Gandaba Viaduct from Pulilan, Bulacan to Apalit, Pampanga,
01:08and the rehabilitation of the large bridges in the NLEX.
01:12In particular, the construction of the Gat Rivers in Pulilan,
01:17Pao in San Fernando, and Abacan in Angeles.
01:23The NLEX Corporation also issued a notice to the motorists
01:27that the Third Gandaba Viaduct in Pulilan will be completed in Metro Manila.
01:34Meanwhile, 753 additional buses were given a special permit
01:41by the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board or LTFRB
01:46to travel to the provinces until November 24, 2024,
01:51as well as additional trips to Baliwag in Bulacan, Olongapo in Zambales,
01:57Cabanatuan in Nueva Ecija, and Apalit and San Fernando in Pampanga.
