00:21are urging the construction of large-scale water impounding facilities in Bicol Region
00:25to control the floods in the region and address the lack of water during dry season.
00:32According to Co, if this can be achieved, this initiative will greatly help not only the climate resilience of the region,
00:40but also food security.
00:42First thing that Co suggested is the accusation that Bicol has a billion pesos worth of flood control project
00:48and it is clear that the 61 billion pesos funding in the region is not only for flood control,
00:55but also for the construction of houses, hospitals, schools, and road construction.
