00:00This pipeline takes us through to the next 10 years.
00:03What does that mean in the number of new homes that are being built?
00:06It means 180,000 more homes that are being supported in these great parts of our city.
00:13And why is this important?
00:14Well it's important so that families can plan ahead with certainty.
00:17That families who want to buy a house in the outer suburb know that in the future
00:22the plans are in place to support that choice for them and their family.
00:26It also provides to the industry, and again, part of these ongoing conversations and discussions
00:32and advice we've been taking from industry representatives, is industry have also told
00:37us that they want the certainty of a pipeline.
00:40They need to see the forward plan, the forward plan of land release, so they too can have
00:45the certainty of how they plan their business, how they plan to partner in the building of
00:50more homes right across the state.
00:52This planned approach, this sequenced approach, also means that we'll have the opportunity
00:57to plan the infrastructure that supports these communities to be a great place to live.
