00:00My love for archive and vintage is probably from my grandmother's and taking me to
00:09thrift stores early, early, early, you know, in my life when I was a little boy. I didn't
00:13really even understand where I was. I just knew it smelled funny. But then growing up and just
00:21keeping that memory and thrift stores just being nostalgic and helping me remember my
00:27grandmother's legacy and our relationship. So that just that was part of it. And then also
00:32just me and my career. I always thought of myself as a storyteller. And I think that it just becomes
00:40a good story when when the clothes have lived another life, you know, and the way things were,
00:46you know, just like when I put Zendaya in a piece that belonged to Eunice Johnson for
00:54when she received the Essence Award. And, you know, that that just became such a great story.
01:00I did also Eunice Johnson started trending on Twitter and people everybody wants to know who
01:05she was who wasn't familiar with her and her story and the contributions of this
01:10black woman to fashion. So it's just that it's just it's just it's all about storytelling.
