00:00The search for the American who was hanged in Zamboanga del Norte is still going on.

00:04The task group that PNP is aiming at is also being formed.

00:08This is the story of Ryan Leziguez.

00:12Two out of four suspects of the Philippine National Police or PNP

00:16are in the middle of the American National in Zamboanga del Norte.

00:20According to PNP Public Information Office Chief Police Brigadier General Gene Fajardo,

00:25one of the suspects is in the rogue gallery of PNP.

00:28But the suspects are not policemen like these.

00:32Based on the initial profile, they are not.

00:37So what we are looking for is the possible affiliation and association of these two

00:43that we have an alias in the LTGs or Local Terrorist Group operating in those areas.

00:50In addition to this, PNP has formed a Critical Incident Management Task Group

00:55that is aimed at investigation.

00:57PNP is working with the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the Philippine Coast Guard.

01:03When the victim entered the house, he was with his wife and his in-laws.

01:09According to the witnesses, one of the suspects apparently has no mask on his face.

01:19And it was seen there that a boat was being fixed.

01:25We had composite sketches when we showed this picture.

01:31Even in our rogues gallery, the witnesses identified it.

01:36So this is the lead as to why we identified it.

01:39We have the alias.

01:40PNP is now finding out which group the suspects belong to.

01:44They are now conducting operational research to confirm

01:47whether these two persons of our interest are associated or at least affiliated

01:52with Abu Sayyaf Group or any Local Terrorist Group operating in these areas.

01:57PNP is also finding out the real motive of the kidnapping,

02:01especially that until now, the victim's family has not received any ransom demand.

02:06That is one of the things that our investigating unit is studying.

02:11If the intention is really kidnapping for ransom,

02:15since this incident happened on October 17,

02:20October 21, four days has already lapsed,

02:23and yet no one has received any demand for ransom.

02:26So all angles, aside from kidnapping for ransom, are being investigated.

02:31Our investigating unit also talked to the victim's wife and other people who know the victim.

02:39The FBI is also coordinating with the LGU and the victim's family regarding the incident.

02:45Eastman was kidnapped by four armed men who introduced themselves as police

02:49in the city of Cebuco and in the presence of the authorities.

02:53He was shot in the forehead, strangled, and Eastman was taken in a speedboat.

02:58Eastman posted a vlog on the video streaming app on September 1,

03:03and stated that he received a ransom demand that he could be kidnapped.
