An investigation is underway after badly decomposed human remains were pulled from in the Rouge River in the City of Wayne. WWJ Newsradio 950's Tim Pamplin reports from the scene.

00:00We're along the lower Rouge River, that's the city of Wayne City Hall over there
00:03They got a nice little park over here for the kiddos
00:06What was found here last night was nothing anybody needs to see but a kayaker
00:10Unfortunately did as we walk across the the deck you see the river off in the distance
00:14they found the torso of a human being I'm being told it was an adult full-size and
00:20Then he called that kayaker called 9-1-1 got the Wayne
00:25Detectives over there and then this morning, Michigan State Police detectives came to the scene
00:30We're able to locate the lower half of this body the bottom half the legs and the hips
00:36Everything now has been packed up taken over to the Wayne County morgue
00:39Medical examiner's office their job is to now try and figure out who this person was and how they ended up getting here in the
