00:00Kyle, how much Super Bowl film are you watching versus what they put on tape this year?
00:04Well, you stick with the five games they've done this year, and you go back to our last game with them.
00:08So you also go to previous games of us versus them.
00:10When coordinators don't change, the scheme doesn't change, you tie in all those games.
00:15How do you characterize going up against a spectacular defense?
00:18Has it been about a similar feel to going up against these defenses over the last few games?
00:23I think it's gotten better and better each year.
00:26I thought last year was the best defense that we played all year,
00:29and I feel that way this year so far.
00:32They've got guys who've been playing a long time together.
00:34They've been doing his scheme for a while.
00:36He's been doing his scheme for so long, but they continue to add to it.
00:39They continue to fine-tune it, and I've got a lot of respect for him and his scheme.
00:45What are the hallmarks of an Andy Reid scheme or an Andy Reid offense?
00:50I think it features around their quarterback, obviously, puts them in a great position to make a ton of plays,
00:55and he has a guy who can make a ton of plays.
00:59They always dabble on all screens, RPOs.
01:02You always got to be ready for new plays, one that you haven't seen.
01:06Always enjoyed watching Andy since he was back in Philly, and he continues to evolve also.
01:12I mean, I try to have the same conversation every week.
01:15I just word it a little differently.
01:18But I never want to say the words must win until, if we don't win, we're eliminated from the playoffs.
01:23That's the only time it's a true must win.
01:26But my words were last week that I'll never say it's a must win until it's that situation, but a damn sure feels like one.
01:33And I think that had to do with just losing two tight games in our division,
01:37being 0-2 in our division, going against a divisional opponent.
01:40I see this game like I see all games.
01:42I feel like they're all – I mean, every game matters huge, but I didn't choose those words this week.
01:48You brought in another kicker.
01:49It's something we won't do.
01:51Patrick Mahomes is having a down season by his standards.
01:53What do you see from him in particular?
01:56I mean, I think everyone says down year just because their numbers aren't just crazy.
02:00But, I mean, Pat's as good as it gets.
02:01He's been as good as it gets since the first year that he got to play.
02:05You know, all their games, I think, except for one, have come down to the last possession,
02:09and he's as good as anyone in that last possession.
02:12You know, their running numbers aren't quite what they were last year.
02:15Their red zone isn't real high, so I think that equates to numbers.
02:20But, Pat is Pat, and he's as good as it gets, and I don't see that changing at all.
02:24Kyle?
02:25Usual.
02:26Well, as you mentioned, the Chiefs are specifically a team you guys have not succeeded against recently in offseason.
02:32Two huge games.
02:33And as a coach, you can't all the time make one ball bigger than the other.
02:37But do you feel that a little bit?
02:38Like, you've had some fairly large losses against this team.
02:42Yeah, I think everyone understands that we've lost two Super Bowls to them.
02:45So, I mean, that can give a little post-traumatic stress when you turn on the tape.
02:48But I think that's human nature.
02:51But you've got to make sure you don't get caught up in that.
02:53You know, this game has nothing to do with past games.
02:56That was last year.
02:57We're playing a really good AFC opponent.
02:59We're 500 right now.
03:01We want to stay atop of our division and get a win.
03:03I don't really – I mean, you think about that stuff going into it, but in terms of
03:07what it plays out in a game, it really has no correlation.
03:10And you try to make sure that it doesn't.
