00:13John Paul has been working as a sales utility clerk for a year.

00:18He says he's happy with his career now, but he wishes for more job opportunities in the country.

00:25He says it's good to have more choices and to have more income.

00:31Of course, there are a lot of people who need jobs.

00:34Just like during the pandemic, a lot of people were stuck on money.

00:37So, it means that people really need to be able to earn a living.

00:43According to the House Committee on Labor and Employment Chair Fidel Nograles,

00:47more jobs are expected in the country in the coming months and years.

00:52This is also followed by an increase in foreign direct investments in the country.

00:57According to the latest data from the Central Bank of the Philippines,

01:00the FDI net inflows of this July amounted to more than US$820 million or more than 47 billion pesos,

01:10which is 5.5% higher than estimated in the same month last year.

01:16According to Congressman Nograles,

01:18he's happy that more people are moving to the country,

01:21which is also a result of President Ferdinand R. Marquez, Jr.'s efforts.

01:26He says it will surely help our economy and bring more and better jobs for Filipinos.

01:35Just recently, during the President's visit to the 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits in Laos PDR,

01:42House Speaker Martin Romualdez also considered the establishment of the Puno Ejecutivo

01:47in the Philippines as an ideal investment destination.

01:51Romualdez says he's confident that it will bring more foreign direct investments,

01:57as he sees the manufacturing, IT services, and tourism industries in a better shape,

02:04which will bring new projects, thousands of jobs, and a more prosperous economy.

02:11Under the leadership of House Speaker Martin Romualdez,

02:14they will continue to provide support to the administration

02:17for the improvement of the country's state.
