25 April - National weather forecast
Transcript
00:00Hello again, it's staying dry this afternoon with plenty of sunshine on offer for most of us, a bit cloudier towards some more eastern areas of England and a cool breeze still in some southern coastal counties of England.
00:11But lots and lots of sunshine for many of us through this afternoon, blue skies for many northern or western areas, a bit more in the way of cloud across eastern parts of England at times and still feeling a bit cooled here, particularly on the coasts, just 9 or 10 degrees for some areas.
00:26Further west though, once again, 16 or 17 in a few spots.
00:30Dry this evening with long clear spells, some patchy cloud coming in from the North Sea though, and outbreaks of rain will arrive across northern Scotland later in the night here, keeping temperatures up above freezing, but for some areas, getting close to freezing and a patchy rural frost is possible elsewhere.
00:47That cloud and outbreaks of rain pushes further south across the rest of Scotland through tomorrow morning, a few heavier bursts in places and getting into Northern Ireland and the far north of England by the afternoon.
00:57Elsewhere though, another dry day, plenty of sunshine and once again, highs of 15 or 16 for some western areas.
01:04It does turn more unsettled though through this week, not rain for everyone, but there will be some showers in the forecast and it will be turning a good deal cooler too.
