05:16On Thursday, Hurricane Milton left Florida and headed to the Atlantic Ocean.
05:21As per the National Hurricane Center, 2 p.m. Thursday update, Milton is over 250 kilometers
05:27off the eastern coast of Florida, with maximum sustained winds of 120 kilometers per hour.
05:33The storm is moving at 33 kilometers per hour to the east and northeast and will continue
05:38to move away from Florida and pass to the north of the Bahamas during the day.
05:43Florida authorities forecast a gradual awakening, but Milton is expected to become a powerful
05:49extratropical on Thursday evening.
06:13And as Hurricane Milton left Florida on Thursday, authorities registered deadly tornadoes, many
06:24homes destroyed and over 3 million customers without power.
06:28Tampa Bay, the metropolitan area, prepared to have escape without catastrophic flooding
