00:00Eliminate from the market of electric energy the fluoride gases, harmful to the atmosphere, promoting technological innovation and energy efficiency, consolidating their role as a reference for environmental and digital progress and for the development of companies.
00:21These are the goals of Siemens, tech company leader in the industry, in infrastructure and mobility, discussed during the event The Future is Blue Jeans, during which it was officially announced the launch in Italy of the new portfolio of Blue Jeans mid-voltage electric frames, completely devoid of sulfur esafluoride and replaced with an insulating gas of natural origin, the Clean Air, harmless, stable, non-toxic, non-flammable and suitable for all temperatures of exercise.
00:50A support tool for both the energy transition and the digital transformation of utilities and S.O.O.
00:57The result is greater efficiency in terms of costs during the entire life cycle and a lower environmental impact, equal to functionality and cost.
01:06The multi-utilities have a very important challenge, the twin transition, what we call the twin transition, which is the sustainable and digital transition.
01:14Siemens stands by their side as a technological partner, precisely to facilitate, to become the enablers of this transition.
01:21Today we launch a new product, a new portfolio, completely sustainable.
01:25The new framework, recently issued by the European Community, imposes the ban on sulfur gas, therefore the SF6.
01:33Siemens has developed a portfolio, completely sustainable and digital, precisely to support the transition in this direction.
01:39Already successfully installed in several European countries, Blue Jeans is now available in Italy, having passed the tests provided by the national regulations,
01:48thus representing a turning point in the electric energy market and a significant step forward towards sustainability.
01:55We have highlighted the technology that Siemens has developed in the last ten years to respond to market requirements,
02:03to sustainability requirements and also to the European regulations that have been imposing on us since 2026,
02:09the complete abandonment of insulating gases based on SF6 in the medium-voltage grid.
02:14So today we went to see in detail the solutions that Siemens has used in its Blue Jeans portfolio
02:20and the innovations that have been made thanks to this technological change.
02:24Siemens and Unareti, a company of the A2A group, thanks to a pilot project in Milan,
02:29have installed the first SF6 free medium-voltage grid in Italy.
02:34Thanks to this project, Unareti becomes the first distribution service operator in the country
02:39to adopt an electric energy distribution framework made up of natural components of the air and the teaching of sustainability.
02:46For us, this project is very important and we are proud that we have joined Siemens,
02:51the first in Italy to install this new type of electric grid,
02:56which has high-level sustainability characteristics,
03:03but at the same time a compactness that today could only be achieved with products that were not so sustainable.
